Matt,
I changed the image ratio to 16:9, and cleared the template cache numerous times, and its working better.
Thanks,
Bob
Hi,
I'm trying out the new inline slideshow but I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to position it. I've been trying different settings to change the location, but so far nothing seems to work for me. It's in the middle of the screen now, but I want to move it to the top of the page under the menu, and make sure it's sized correctly.
The site is www.justwalkingaround.com
Thanks,
Bob
Daniel,
Yep, same mistake, and thanks to your help, everything works great now!
I made the mistake of deleting the sample php text, and adding your suggested text. After you pointed out my mistake, it was an easy fix.
I'm still trying to understand and learn css/php, but I'll get there hopefully.
Thanks so much,
Bob
Daniel,
Thank you for help!
I added the php file, but I had a couple of issues with it. I had two mastheads, and text visible around the mastheads.
I then read your reply and instructions to the post by jackm "Home Page Theater "Enter" Button Question. Which I thought would work even better for me. )
I added the css and php file you suggested. The "enter" button appeared and works perfectly. The masthead looks good also, but the following text is visible above it:
function ttg_masthead_bottom ( $style, $path ) { echo '
ENTER
'; } // end ttg_masthead_bottom
Is there a change I can make in the php to hide or repair the text?

Thank you again, for your help on this!
Bob
Matt,
Thanks for the answer.
Bob
I've created a slideshow for my homepage with the Theater module. I would like to change the masthead hyperlink from the home page which is now the slideshow to the galleries page. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Bob
Ok, I think I may have solved it.
Here's the masthead info when the blue line showed up.
<div class="masthead">
<div class="content page__width">
<a href="http://justwalkingaround.com/">
<img src="http://www.justwalkingaround.com/galleries/travel/alaska/backlight/modules/okapi-core/static/galleries/backlight/designer/?c=page&a=image&p1=1" alt="Just Walking Around...." class="identity_plate" width="400" height="94" />
</a>
</div>
</div><!-- .masthead -->
And this is the info when I would login to Backlight:
<div class="masthead">
<div class="content page__width">
<a href="http://justwalkingaround.com/">
<img src="http://justwalkingaround.com/backlight/designer/?c=page&a=image&p1=1" alt="Just Walking Around...." class="identity_plate" width="400" height="94" />
</a>
</div>
</div><!-- .masthead -->
I changed my logo gif to a different file in Backlight, and updated the settings. Logged out, and went to my galleries page, and it showed the logo correctly. Logged back in to Backlight, and changed it back to the orginal logo, and updated the settings. The blue line is gone, and my masthead img src is correct again.
Bob
More info:
I just logged into Backlight with my website open. By just logging in, the blue line is gone, and the logo is back, also the galleries v icon is also appearing correctly.
Matt,
I made the changes you suggested, but the problem persists. The blue line now only appears on the gallery page, home, contact, and about show the masthead logo. If I make any changes in Backlight, the line is gone, and the logo appears again. But if I logout, and close my webpages, then open my site back up again, the line is back, and the logo is gone. Also I've notice the breadcrumb icon is also not filling in properly.
The gallery page is http://justwalkingaround.com/galleries/
Bob
Matt,
I've made the changes outlined on the blog post, I"ll update you on the results.
Thanks for your help,
Bob
My identity plate png file is not always visible, it will often just show up as a thin blue line. It usually happens when I go to my galleries page, the strange thing is its visible when I go to the other pages, home, contact, about, etc. It doesn't reappear when I refresh the web pages.
It seems like it happens most often when I'm doing something in Backlight admin, and then open or have my website open.
If I clear the template cache it seems to fix the issue. But it will repeat if I work in admin again.

Rod,
Well that worked, I kept refreshing the page, but forgot about trying to clear the cache. Is there a place to change the width of the navigation bar?
Thanks for always helping out,
Bob
I can’t seem to figure out how to change the length of the navigation bar. On my home page it stretches across the whole screen. http://justwalkingaround.com/?page=home
It also has the same behavior under my bird galleries here: http://justwalkingaround.com/galleries/birds/
But not under my other menus, such as galleries, About, Contact, etc.
Any idea where and how I would change it to style that doesn’t run across the whole screen?
Bob
Rod,
Thank you, that worked! I had the column set to no tray.
Bob
The menu bar appears on my desktop computer, but not on my Kindle Fire or iPad. I'm sure I've missed a setting, but can't seem to find where it would be. I've looked under the navigation, trays settings, and changed it to mobile, no change.
Bob
Matt,
Thank you, that worked great!
Bob
I can't seem to find the setting to center the caption in the large image display, it aligns left.
Can it be changed to align in the center of the screen?
Thanks,
Bob
Rod,
Thanks for the link.
Bob
Hi,
I'm using Stage full screen auto for my home page. I've tried cropping with a 16:9 ratio, but stage is still cropping the top and bottom of the photos. Am I using the wrong crop ratio?
Thanks,
Bob
I was more concerned with viewing on laptops/desktops.
Thanks for your help, and and the great software.
Bob
I'm concerned viewers not on a small display won't be aware that clicking on the image will toggle to full screen.
I do have some images that aren't cropped on the top/bottom, but most are. Any thoughts on why some are not cropped?
Thanks for your help,
Bob
I would like to show the controls for the Magnific Popup but they cut off the top & bottom of any portrait photos. Is there a way to resize the photos to avoid this?
Bob
