Slideshow UI Crops Portrait Photos

I would like to show the controls for the Magnific Popup but they cut off the top & bottom of any portrait photos. Is there a way to resize the photos to avoid this?

No. This is an intentional design choice to maximize the use of space on smaller displays, such as phones and tablets. Tap/click the image to toggle the display of the UI.

Re: Slideshow UI Crops Portrait Photos

I'm concerned viewers not on a small display won't be aware that clicking on the image will toggle to full screen.

I do have some images that aren't cropped on the top/bottom, but most are. Any thoughts on why some are not cropped?

Thanks for your help,
Bob

In which case, I suggest your viewers get to know their phones a little better. Tap-toggling the slideshow UI is pretty standard throughout phone apps and websites.

Re: Slideshow UI Crops Portrait Photos

I was more concerned with viewing on laptops/desktops.

Thanks for your help, and and the great software.

Re: Slideshow UI Crops Portrait Photos

Still pretty common. I'm sure most folks will sort it out.

Or use Highslide Slideshow for desktop/laptop.
