Hi,
I'm getting "Function name must be a string" errors on my subpages (eg Services) at : http://kvarnbokvarn.se
I have built 3 web sites using Pages, but now I'm failing to make my fourth on the same host.
I've tried restarting from scratch, and loading up successful web pages to the new site, but they don't work either.
It looks great in LR, and the first page looks great on the host, but subpages are blank.
Can't find anything in the community.
Any tips ?
Thanks,
Mark
Ah ha. I think I see the problem. I thought you could pay by credit card through paypal without creating a paypal account.
Your test site shows me a different paypal interface, where it says "Create a paypal account and pay with credit card", whereas the interface I see from my site just offers "Create an account".
And the reason I don't have a problem on the computers is that the browsers there know that I have a paypal account, and communicate that when I get sent to paypal.
Does that sound right ?
Here's a gallery with cart : http://frozentime.se/horse_galleries/st … mulen-2014
And this is what my paypal interface looks like ("betala med kreditkort" is the magic box, as you might guess).

Hi,
It seems that when Cart hands over to paypal, the 'pay with credit card' option only appears when using a computer,
not a phone or a tablet. Is this expected, and can it be changed ?
Otherwise, what am I seeing ?
This seems to be a fundamental paypal question, but an hour of googling there hasn't made me wiser.

Ben : Because they are incompetent ? Now I look deeper in the raw mail, even I see a From: record.
Rod : I read that post, but didn't know what email was supposed to be set. But Site_Email and Vendor_Email in BE are both set to my own email address, which is hosted by one.com, like the web page (and everything else I do) so I think I'm doing what it suggests.
Here's the bounce msg, as raw and rtf :

Hi,
I read a lot of similar posts here, but none quite matches my problem.
My host (one.com) says my CRG responses are being blocked simply because there is no "From:" field in the mail sent.
That used to be set in LR with CE3, but I can't see anywhere to set that now, in LR or in BE.
I'm using 'mail', not SMTP.
How should I proceed ?
Mark
Hi,
I love TTG, but since all the BE cleverness come along, I find updates a bit daunting.
I know it's not rocket science, and the instructions in the readmes are very clear, but I still get confused when
actually moving the files around, especially when several updates come at once, and know that sometime I'm going to copy the wrong folder to the wrong place, and terrible things will happen. Possibly unnoticed by me, but not by my clients.
So one of my dreams is for some sort of automation of updates.
And yes, I realise it's hard to automate when two machines and different user directories are involved, but a man can dream, can't he ?
And you do other stuff that's hard, right ?

I guess I would be happy just if the open-circle conflict went away.
(My intuition was that the status bar icons were global versions of the grid icons, so expected open-circle to unselect all, or at least do something with unselected images).
So how about 'show all images' being filled-circle ?
Then there is a natural pattern from filled-circle to dot-circle to tick-circle as more is shown.
But like I said, it's a minor niggle, and I won't cry if you want to keep it as it is.
And here's my version of the text explanation : http://frozentime.se/temp/crg_show
Hi,
A minor niggle, but it's a bit confusing with open-circle having different meanings, depending on context.
Tick-circle deals with selected images in both image grid and status bar, and other symbols are unique, so I'm fine with those.
But not all clients will bother to read the instructions, and even I got confused when I came back after 2 days, and tried to
play newbie-client (I was very convincing).
I also feel that tick-circle could be a toggle rather than act with dot-circle.
Guess I should have signed up for the beta test, huh ?
Otherwise I love the plug-in, by the way....
I wonder why you call this rudimentary, as this is exactly what I was hoping for.
So you are not dull and lustreless ?
In my defence, I was translating on the fly from Swedish, where it is spelled 'Matt'.
For the prosecution, I'm a native English speaker, but have become hemilingual after 20 years here.
Here's a small suggestion for the TYPE of an ATTRIBUTE - a third option which makes no change to the price, and add no text.
It would make things tidier when you have attributes that don't change the cost.
As it is I have a lot of visual noise in my price lists :
Colour + 0.00 SEK
B&W + 0.00 SEK
Gloss + 0.00 SEK
Matt + 0.00 SEK
Semimatt + 0.00 SEK
Which would look much nicer as :
Colour
B&W
Gloss
Matt
Semimatt
Unless I'm missing some way to do this now ?

I saw that you added random to stage (thanks !), but not to pages. Is that just because it hasn't been updated yet ?
Oh great, thanks !
BTW, when I try to use Publisher to control my homepage, I get permission errors, which I guess is my webhotel's fault ?

Yes, I foolishly made a minor update just after announcing, and lost some stuff, but it's back now.
Thanks for taking a look.
I've been using the brilliant CRG and Cart for some years, but they we supported by a crappy website I built in 1997.
Now I have finally built a complete TTG framework, and love the ease of maintenance, and how my lack of design skills doesn't show. Still need to fine tune and populate some areas, but I'm very happy.

Is it possible to set a percentage-of-screen-size for Galleria ?
When it fills the full width, I find it's just a bit too big, and my whole webpage doesn't quite fit on small screens,
and I have to scroll down a bit to see the whole show.
Changing the aspect ration helps, but then the show develops 'wings' on bigger screen.
Setting the width to 85% seems like it would fit better.
Mark
OK, good to know, so it's worth me building up my price list the other way.
Any chance of getting a 'random-order' button for the Galleria slideshow ?
Galleria seems to have an option (dataSort: 'random' ).

Hi,
Are we likely to see back-calculated tax implemented in the near future ?
It's a nice feature, and would make life much easier for those of us who think in terms of final price.
(In Sweden it's not even legal to quote pre-tax prices to consumers).
Seems like it should be a nobrainer to code, but then lots of things seem easy when I don't have to do them....
Mark
Ah, I see. I didn't realise it was third-party.
It would be very nice to have the date of the latest update listed on the fetchapp page.
I now have 14 products listed, and when I get a notice that a bundle has been updated, it's not so clear which I need to update,
especially if several apps have been updated. I would just save my old brain a bit of thinking, and confusion.
OK, I'll go old school and print out a menu and highlight my favourite items with magic markers.
Thanks for the quick answer.
Hi,
Is there an easy way to find a particular parameter in the long menu lists ?
I hoped that ⌘F on the mac would let me search, but no.
Collapsing the subsections I never use helps a bit, but even after several years of using TTG,
I still can't remember how far down the 'title' box is.
