Would love to see a clever update system

Hi,

I love TTG, but since all the BE cleverness come along, I find updates a bit daunting.
I know it's not rocket science, and the instructions in the readmes are very clear, but I still get confused when
actually moving the files around, especially when several updates come at once, and know that sometime I'm going to copy the wrong folder to the wrong place, and terrible things will happen. Possibly unnoticed by me, but not by my clients.
So one of my dreams is for some sort of automation of updates.
And yes, I realise it's hard to automate when two machines and different user directories are involved, but a man can dream, can't he ?
And you do other stuff that's hard, right ?

I agree with you. So far I have been lucky, but I feel the same way. I would hate to update Windows or  Lightroom the same way.
Having said that, the CE4 plugins are a great way to make a website that is incredibly easy to use and update. Don't understand why Adobe has not bought them out yet.
