#26 Re: Backlight Support » Reseting a Published client select album » 2018-07-31 09:53:08

I am using Client Response. The clients has completed the selection and closed the link. When I go to the Feedback page to see which photos have been selected I see three different groups. 1st. Titled CONSOLIDATED IMAGES and shows All Images (259), 2nd. Selected Images (229) and the 3rd Unrated. Which is the group of photos which are the ones they selected?

For the client not to get confused by selecting simular photos, I want to keep the photos that they selected in the previous client select album by marking them with a colour code. What is the quickest way to reset or republish the album?

My client has completed a selection for their client select album. What is the quickest way to republish a fresh album showing the photos they have already selected?

#29 Re: Backlight Support » TTG plugin » 2018-06-30 22:49:46

I receive this message when I want to republish the album. No, I do not have any internet security software.

I often receive this message in Lightroom when returning to a publish an album" Could not connect to network. You need to be online to use TTG Publisher." . My computer is online and is functioning normal so why do I receive the message that I am not online? If the computer is not connecting how do I connect?

When I login to my Backlight page I see a notice in red saying that my site is not a secure website.

How can I make my site secure?

I currently have a client who cannot access a Client Response page that I have created and yet I can access it fine!

Would the fact that the site is not a secure website, be the reason why it does not work on my clients computer to allow them to access it?

#34 General » Delete Album » 2018-04-04 09:22:32

I created a client select album in Lightroom which duplicated itself online. The first one had no photos in it and the second one that was a duplicate had the same web address and finished with a number. I wanted to delete the first one that had no photos and then redress the duplicate so it doesn't finish with a number. To do this I deleted the album in Lightroom but the album without the photos is still in the album list online.

How do I delete this album completely so I can start a fresh?

#35 Re: Backlight Support » Client Response File Reference » 2018-03-25 01:46:49

Sorry, I did write {Filename} wrapped with curly brackets but I did not know where to find those curly brackets on my keyboard. I just cut and pasted ones that were already there. When responding to the post it was quicker to type  (Filename) in the response above.

The problem is this has still not solved my issue and I still do not see the filenames in the grid?

#36 Re: Backlight Support » Client Response File Reference » 2018-03-24 08:12:46

I opened the album template and the only sections that mention Metadata is in Thumbnail Grid, Photo Presentation and Add-ons. I added Metadata One in each area and wrote (Filename) for each. This was saved and then Republished the album from Lightroom but the filenames still do not show in the Album link!

How can I show the file numbers of the individual photos in the contact album and in the slideshow presentation?

#38 Backlight Support » Renewing a used album in client select » 2018-03-22 04:16:28

A client made a selection of photos from an album that I made but wants to reuse the album to select more photos. A message pops up saying the album is closed please contact the photographer. I tried republishing the album with the same name and also re assigning it to the clients details but with no joy.

How do I renew an album so a client can select more photos?

#39 Re: Backlight Support » Changing language in Client Response gallery help » 2018-03-13 12:08:31

Or what I mean to say is what are the steps I have to do to make this my main Client Select Album?

#40 Re: Backlight Support » Changing language in Client Response gallery help » 2018-03-13 12:04:28

So far I have just created a clone of the Client Select Album Template and gave it a new title. I changed the English wording html to Spanish.
But now, how do I tell it that I want this Album to be my new main Client Select Album?

I have made some advances to my Backlight and can now create a client select page. I now want to make the design of the template cater to what I need it for. I am based in Colombia South America so most of my clients are Spanish speaking.

Is there a way to have two styles of templates one in Spanish and one in English?

I have added some Spanish text in the Album Settings /Album Copy / Main Copy and wrote some instructions of how to use the Client Select Page but was wondering if it is possible in the Gallery Help box, to change the language to Spanish that describes the individual icons?

Mod note: split from earlier topic

#42 Re: Backlight Support » API » 2018-03-11 06:58:58

I have just recovered my username and password to Login on the Community page. I use my abbreviated name but the same password.

What I am still stuck with is not being able to authenticate my URL and API in the Lightroom using the TTG Publisher Plugin.

#43 Re: Backlight Support » API » 2018-03-11 06:46:49

I am still having problems with my set up and passwords. I use a Mac with the OS system, with Keychain so whenever a username and password is created it is saved. I currently have a username and password saved which allows me to login to the Backlight Dashboard.

But I do not remember the username and passwords for the other areas.

Nor do I remember my initial username and password for the Quick Settings page so I am still not able to complete the installation of the Publisher Plugin with Lightroom because it says The Authentication was NOT successful and I need to check my URL & API Key. I have tried my URL http://kewphoto.com/backlight/publisher and the password that allows me to enter the Backlight Dashboard but I still get the same message.

I have also tried to open this community page on another computer and that too does not allow me to login with my username and password I use with the Backlight Dashboard page.

I do not want to close this community page where I am writing now in case I can not login again!

How many different web pages are there that require different username and passwords?

#44 Re: Backlight Support » API » 2018-03-09 00:18:15

I know the home page is there. But that is the Backlight basic one. I need to have the old one back that I had before purchasing Backlight which had links and photos on it for the clients to navigate.  For now I still need to resolve the problem with the Lightroom TTG Publisher Plugin! All the answers you have given me do not create a solution!

#46 Re: Backlight Support » API » 2018-03-08 23:45:58

All I want to do is to have my home page back up online so my clients can navigate to my official two websites!

#47 Re: Backlight Support » API » 2018-03-08 23:19:37

Tried this and still receive this answer

"Unable to find Publisher.
Please check that the API URL is correct. "

#48 Re: Backlight Support » API » 2018-03-08 23:01:42

Now I receive this message

"Unable to find Publisher.
Please check that the API URL is correct. "

#49 Re: Backlight Support » API » 2018-03-08 22:51:23

I have tried two passwords that I set up. One from my Account with Backlight and the other from my Backlight login page kewphoto.com/backlight/admin and neither of them work.

I keep receiving a message "Authentication Check, The authentication check was NOT successful.  Please check the URL and API Key"

My URL is what? www.kewphoto.com or http://kewphoto.com/backlight/publisher/ as explained in Instal Publisher Part 1.

I have tried to login to http//:kewphoto.com/backlight/admin on another computer and it does not recognise my username or password!

This is getting very frustrating. How many accounts, passwords and usernames are there. It is getting very confusing and there is no simple explanation.

I am a photographer not a web designer.
