Can you elaborate?

I have made a silent update to CRG.  Only very minor changes to a single file: crg/lib/js/jquery.ttgcrg-ce4.js

The changes:

1. Fixed the image title being picked up on the feedback submission

2. Removed the background image upon closing the feedback window so that it won't appear in the feedback submission and logout windows

3. Added a fallback for the image title, so that the image name (without .jpg extension) is displayed in the feedback panel in the even that the Metadata title field has not been set.

Thanks, I can see the cause of the problem.  The selector used for populating the title is too broad.  So clicking on an image's feedback populates the title of both the feedback form and the submission form.  I'll make a silent update shortly.

If you're keen to experiment, the change is in line 225 of ttg-be/crg/lib/js/jquery.ttgcrg-ce4.js. 

From:

$('.popup-title p').html($(img).attr('title'));

To:

$('#crg-modal .popup-title p').html($(img).attr('title'));

The current CRG can't do this.  The client copy of the email was actually a last-minute addition, based on feedback during testing.  That's why it is basically a copy of the vendor's email, with an alternative subject.

Can you provide the URL of a gallery and where you have installed the ttg-be directory?

Hi Patrick, I have looked through your log files but nothing was immediately apparent.  I am also up against the wall, especially with the new Client Response Gallery release.  It will probably be a few days until I can give your site due attention.

What do you need to get running for your own deadlines?

Hi Stephane, are you using Publisher?  If so, make sure that the Publisher instance option of "Push metadata without updating existing photos" is *not* checked.  Was this checked?

Hi Jeff, it looks like Publisher hasn't been upgraded at the back-end.  Have you logged into ttg-be/publisher/admin since you updated the code?  If not, please do so, as this should complete the upgrade.

Let us know if that still doesn't help, and the version number that Publisher is reporting on the Publisher Dashboard.

Can you provide a link to a gallery showing this error?

Have you restarted Lightroom and replaced the entire gallery online?

Use CE4 CRG with Publisher and every selection is saved to the database in real time.  A client can revisit the gallery at any time, even after closing the browser, and continue providing feedback.

Hi, you do not need to buy Publisher. 

If you want to manage Clients in the CRG admin, then that can only be done with Publisher. 

If you want to use CE4 CRG in the same way as the CE3 CRG then there's nothing more to be done.  Just tell your clients to visit www.mywebsite/prite/clientgalleryname and they should be able to provide feedback, provide their details and submit the feedback.

I will change the "Publisher" message you saw to make it more clear that this feature is not needed to use CRG.  There are good reasons to use CRG with Publisher, but Publisher is not needed to operate in the same way that CE3 CRG worked.
