#1 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Error, refresh clears » 2018-10-04 02:14:18

Thanks, I had to fix the permission level at the class_lokkup.txt level which seemed to have fixed the issue.  This was an upgraded installation, I had a couple of weird other errors when creating Albums in Lightroom (latest version) but I could just click past them.  I'll see if they go away as well.  As always, thanks for the quick response.  Love the options in the new version as I may move away from Lightroom.

Searched the Forum, did not see this one...when I attempt to login to the Backlight 2 screen, I get this error...when I refresh the browser (Safari), it clears and is fine.  But if I update anything, I get the same error until I refresh again...

Thanks, that fixed it.  I should have thought of it.  smile

Hi Rod
www.dinterman.com is my site.  I did reload a second time.  I am pretty meticulous with the ReadMe file.  Not to say I couldn't have made an error.

Today I just upgraded to Release 4, all went well until I attempted to login to my admin page:

Fixed...not sure how I did it...combination of addresses to get into the Admin panel.  Finally worked once the update ran.
Thanks for the help!!!  smile

Oddly, I do not have the option under designer.    I have templates and menu sets.

OK, I am clearly missing something right in front of me.  How do I change the text or set-up the Home Page?  Everything else seems to work.

#14 Re: Backlight Showcase » Backlight test site » 2016-05-14 01:11:13

This a great examples, I'm going to start on my transition this weekend, so these are an excellent reference for the different styles.  My websites are mixes of various versions of Turning Gate software, some updated, some not.  This will be a perfect time to fix them all.

Wow, I had same issue and deleting the "Default Album" worked like a charm.  Love these forums!

I did a search but came up empty, I am also guessing this may be an issue with my ISP (Comcast) or my hosting service (GoDaddy).
When publishing albums I get this error sometimes, it will usually allow about 25 photos (or less) to be published before it appears.  Then I have to wait a few minutes to upload again.  Any feedback appreciated.

Here is the error:

Error uploading rendition.

Thank you for the fix, with the update all is well.

#19 Re: CE4 Gallery » Photos Not Showing, but there. » 2014-09-02 11:18:40

Hi Rod - I downloaded from the link that was sent via e-mail, so whatever version it leads to.  It was after that upgrade that galleries moved from CE3 started doing this.  I had not noticed until recently.  Double checked everything.  When I attempt to republish I get this error message:

Unable to perform action: getSetupForTemplate

Message: The template <cite>ttg-be/templates/gallery/</cite> could not be found.  Create this template with CE4 Gallery then upload it to your server.

Any help appreciated.

#20 Re: CE4 Gallery » Photos Not Showing, but there. » 2014-09-02 10:31:29

This affected every gallery that was moved from CE3, all was well until the updates on 8/22.

After the latest update, the gallery displays but the pictures are not there.  The page is full and indicates photos are there.  See http://dinterman.com/galleries/2014/2014-dawns-party/ for what I am talking about.  Galleries created since the update have no problem, just the ones prior to 6.1.0.
Thanks!

#22 Re: CE4 Publisher » Album(s) not found after update » 2014-08-09 21:06:52

Ben, thanks so much.  They all moved successfully!!  smile

#23 Re: CE4 Publisher » Album(s) not found after update » 2014-08-09 20:24:01

I also have index_e3.php and lib_e3.php, what should I do with them?  I am guessing everything should be renamed back to the original.
Thanks again!

#24 Re: CE4 Publisher » Album(s) not found after update » 2014-08-09 20:13:42

Thanks Ben, first two steps went fine.  But for step #3, I have both a gallery.xml AND a gallery_ce3.xml file in every gallery.  Which one should stay since they both cannot be gallery.xml?

I carefully followed all instructions on migrating the CE3 Galleries to the CE4.  Once I did that and used the migration tool, while all the files and galleries are there on the auto-index page, I get this error {"status":"error","message":"The album could not be found."} when they are clicked on.  Lightroom (5.6 for mac) now also says it cannot find the thumbnails to update.  I did create a new gallery using the same CE4 published that the migrated files are in and that works fine.  www.dinterman.com
I am probably missing something obvious.  smile
