I'm told that Google is marking our URLs as not secure. I was told to make it secure I had to buy SSL Certificate service for the certification. So I bought it from Blue Host and after they installed it my Website disappeared fro the web, which is on the scary side. I was on the phone for an hour and they then said it had to be fixed with a service ticket. I hung before I said anything crazy. It came back up two hours ago with no explanation. The site is till listed as "Not Secure"

Before I call them on Sunday I would appreciate it if someone would tell me if the SSL Certificate service is required and if you are having any trouble with SSL certificates.

Daniel, thanks for the response. I am going to come back to this later, I set up a new domain and have created a new site. This program is easy (so far) when you do things right. It took me a couple of days to remember the TTG method. I'm on a roll and will try to clean up the older site in a few days.

Dan to the best of my ability I: (1) Execute /backlight -> Special Links -> Update Album Files

and (2) attempted to create a new album/album set from /backlight/publisher?  No success. I still get the Internal Service Error

#6 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Fresh install » 2018-12-24 16:33:11

The Album set and one album are there. I deleted them in publisher. It now lists: Top-level Galleries
Top-level Galleries are created automatically via the Lightroom Publisher module.

Create New Top-level Gallery
Title             Directory    Template             Order By    Breadcrumbs    Path    Album Sets    Albums
Galleries    Galleries    Default Album Set

When I go to the website and go to Galleries I get: Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@npphotographicsgallery.rmuma.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I want to do a fresh install. I tried to delete the files in my server directory but it wont let me. So I deleted all that I could and then did a new upload over the existing files. The installer runs as it did the first time but when I got into the website the two Albums where still there from the first install.
I had loaded them from Lightroom but now want to use backlight 2 for uploads. I deleted the Albums in Lightroom and they no longer show. I can't get rid of TTG Publisher in Lightroom also. Most important I want to start over. I want to use Backlight 2 as the photo manager.

I am also confused does?
Top-level Gallery = "Galleries" in the menu
Album Set = A container to hold Albums "Bob's Pictures"
Album = "Horses"
Album = "Dogs"
Album = "Cats"

Please be patient with a old man, thanks

Rod I'm on blue host:     PHP 5.6
All files with the extension .php will be handled by the PHP 5.6 engine

#12 Re: CE4 Pages » Error Message when trying to open site » 2014-07-24 17:48:38

I have been helped many times by this forum so I wanted to contribute by trying to figure out this problem.

What I found was if I selected YES the pull down: Appearance/the gallery/Allow Page Replacement by CE4 Publisher, I would get the following error messages. If NO I was OK.

Warning: include_once(./ttg-be/publisher/application/config/config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home6/rmumacom/public_html/ttg-be/framework/init.php on line 30

Warning: include_once(): Failed opening './ttg-be/publisher/application/config/config.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/php/54/usr/lib64:/usr/php/54/usr/share/pear') in /home6/rmumacom/public_html/ttg-be/framework/init.php on line 30

If I am correct about this and it is an universal problem (no just for me) then you will see more questions about this in the future or you may want to note it in the directions. I have not installed Publisher but checked the box because I intend to. Yes seemed like an innocent choice.

I hope someone will challenge these findings to confirm if I am right or wrong. Thank you for a great program and for a great forum.

#13 Re: CE4 Pages » Error Message when trying to open site » 2014-07-22 22:10:35

OK I went through and compared all of the sub folders and files. There were a few differences but I could not add the missing elements to ttg-be. So I unzipped with different  extractor; still no help.

So I rebuilt a new website following your directions and doing nothing more. I loaded it to a different domain and it worked fine. Then I loaded ttg-be and it worked fine.

So I deleted everything and loaded the first site to the new domain and started getting the error messages again. I believe there is something wrong with the CE4 site that I built. I believe the problem is in pages and with the choices I made.

If I find out what it was I will let you know.

I uploaded ttg-be again. Still have the same problem. How can I tell if the ENTIRE folder is on line?

I see in folder ttg-be sub-folders:
Admin
data
framework
templates

Files:
config.php
index.php

#15 Re: CE4 Pages » Error Message when trying to open site » 2014-07-21 19:16:10

I also don't see ttg-be/publisher/application/config/config.php in the folder ttg-be on the server.

Hi thank you for responding.

I re-exported pages, re-uploaded Pages and re-installed ttg-be; I still have the same problem.

I am also getting this message repeatedly in my error log on the server.

I exported and uploaded the site to my host. I first received a message that there was no ttg-be so I installed that per instructions. I filled out the information for ttg-be except for the email information.

No when I try to open the site I get the error messages listed below.

Warning: include_once(./ttg-be/publisher/application/config/config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home6/rmumacom/public_html/ttg-be/framework/init.php on line 30
