I am unable to create galleries (Client Response) after the most recent update. I get a window in Lightroom when I try to create a Set saying:
Unable to perform action:
listAutoindexTemplates
Message: The page sent an action that was not available
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

listAutoindexTemplates?
Are you working with an old CE4 instance of Publisher? (Just thinking that an error mentioning Autoindex would be strange with Backlight)
do you have Album Set templates in place?
Are you using the latest version of the Publisher plug-in?

Hey Rod, Can you tell me where I can download the most current version of the plugin.. just to be sure.. Currently I am running 4.0.0.0
I do indeed have album set templates in place... I have not changed anything but simply did the updates and now get this message...

there's a link to the Publisher plug-in at the top of your Backlight Modules page

Okay... latest publisher installed... I Still get the same error... when I click "Ok" and then select the Set Templat I built I get a similar error window that says:
Unable to perform action:
getSetupForTemplate
Message: The page sent an action that was not available

can you try creating a new album set template and see if it works with that?

Okay.. so I went to go do that and at the same time opened up my settings page on the publisher and did not change anything though I saved it.... now no templates show up .. not even the new one I created.. then I went back to the settings page and clicked "Check authentication" and got:
Unable to perform action: checkAuth
Message: The page sent an action that was not available.

Okay... somehow something has gone awry in my setting the API URL shows:
http://clients.hursey.com/backlight/publisher/
however there is no "publisher" subdirectory inside my backlight folder...
I have not touched any of this since I last posted a gallery.. Have I completely missed a step on the update?

the url: yoursite.com/backight/publisher is correct: http://backlight.theturninggate.net/doc … om_classic
Only it should be https://clients.hursey.com/backlight/publisher/
Backlight works differently than CE4 did. Some urls don't go to physical folders.

Arrrgh! Thanks SO MUCH Rod.. you (as always) are a life saver... it was just the "s" that was causing the whole issue.. Not sure how it "became" an issue all of a sudden.. but problem solved! Thank You!

did you recently add ssl to your site? That bit me once. Changed the site to https and Publisher no longer worked!

“autoindex” lives on for internal naming in Backlight
