After I have had problems with updating from Backlight 1 to Backlioght 2 (reported seperately) I have rolled back to Backlight 1 by copying back the entire backup created just prior to the Backlight 2 upgrade.
Everythng seemed fine (Website works without any visible trouble) but when I tried today to add a photo to an album I got an error message in Lightroom:
....
Message: Unable to authenticate
When I now check in Lightroom the API another error pops up:
The authentication Check was NOT successful.
Please check the URL and API key.
I have definitely not changed that in Lightroom.
I thought I create a new API key in the Backlight Admin Backend -- and can't find the place to change the API key!
From another forum entry I see that Rod suggested to go to: Backlight > Publisher > Settings > Other > API Key
But there is nothing like that in my system under Backlight > Publisher > Settings.
All I can see there is Other (but nothing further) and Application Version 3.2.3. When I click on Edit I get the choice to Save Setting, that's all.
Has the failed update corrupted these Publisher settings and how do I revert that? I need help here, please.

Ignor my earlier post - I have re-uploaded the entier "data" directory from my backup again and now everything is working as before (Backlight 1). I must not have copied all files before. I don't now why, but it is fixed now.

Hi Alfred, I’m glad to hear!

Hi Ben,
losely related: When I restored the backup I saw the huge number (of pretty large) Publisher Log files. You have mentioned in one of your recent posts about deleting them:
We have a function to do this: visit the Backlight landing page, then click on Remove Log Files on the page.
Is this a Backlight2 function? I don't see this in Backlight1. I trust I can delete those files manually though?

Backlight 2 function. And yes, you can delete them.
