I'm getting the following error message when trying to set up publisher in lightroom:
Error performing function.
Unable to complete the action.
Headers: { [error]=> {    [errorCode]=> "cannotFindHost"       [name]
=> "The server name or address could not be resolved
"     [nativeCode]=> 12007
       }
  }
any ideas?

Re: publisher authenication error

I think there should be a '/' after publisher, eg http://jwbimages.com/backlight/publisher/

Re: publisher authenication error

That's a network error of some sort.  What do you see when you visit http://jwbimages.com/backlight/publisher/ in your browser? You should see a message such as 'The page sent an action which was not available.' (this is expected, as the URL doesn't take any action when viewed in a browser).
If you have the option to, can you try from either a different PC or network?  If using a laptop, then trying via a tethered mobile connection is another way of trying another network.

Re: publisher authenication error

I do see the 'The page sent an action which was not available.' message in my browser. I'm on a desktop so I can't easily change networks. I tried disabling my Norton firewall but that didn't help. I also tried installing and using the 500 px lightroom plug in and didn't have any issues using that one. Anything else I can try?

Re: publisher authenication error

User Error! I misspelled the URL address. The lesson for me is it doesn't pay to try this when tired. Thank You for the help and Daniel I enjoyed your website.
