Hi Ben. Not sure how you want me to share a link to the file. It's at http://markhoffmanphotography.com/recaptcha.php/
Going there produces a page not found error. Guessing that's not what you meant.
Mark
FYI, host tells me they are NOT blocking server calls to reCaptcha and, in fact, are using reCaptcha on their tech support site.
So I'm going to put this one down as a Quantum Electrodynamic Mechanics Conundrum (betcha can't say that 3 times real fast).
Regards Mark
Thanks Ben. Will get with hosting and see what's what.

Not much help I guess.

Ben, edit of ContactDelegate.php is complete.
Mark
I've re-enabled the debug mode. There is no server response. Domain is in the list of sites in my reCaptcha account.
Mark
Both reCaptcha and I seem to be stuck. This usually means my brain has failed to appreciate some subtle setting that is right in front of me.
Site contact form is here: http://markhoffmanphotography.com/contact/
Submitting the form generates an error in red that says I must check the "I am not a robot" box even though I have done so. Using page inspector on the form I see that my site key is there. Turning on debug reCaptcha in Backlight settings provides no information at all. Have deleted site settings in google and gotten new site and secret keys. I see in a forum search I seem to be the only one reporting this error. In my case this is the universal indicator of user error, mine.

Fascinating. Honestly, now there's a topic I had never even considered when designing a website user interface. Does anyone know if there are other color perception deficiencies in humans we should all be wary of? I actually did use red for my cart icon. Guess I'd better rethink that.
Mark
In your album templates, under the heading of Thumbnail Presentation, there is a setting for Color Labels: On or Off.

CE4 is the older product and is being replaced by Backlight. If you are getting Backlight you will not need CE4. Unless of course you want it.

Hadn't thought about SEO but, yes, that makes perfect sense.

Hey Charlie, I toyed with the idea of adding more info to single images but wasn't sure I'd like it. Now that I see it on your site - which by the way is really nice - I think I may borrow your idea, or parts of it, for photo captions.
Regards, Mark
Really nice. As Rod said, looks like a lot of time was spent on your creation.
Mark
Really Nice. Lots of stuff in a compact design. I'm quite fond of the gradient to black in the background.
Regards Mark
I think your use of the square images is very effective. Looking at them I find a smoothness in the transitions that is pleasant in that it doesn't jerk the eye around as happens with images that change dimension radically from one image to the next. In fact I'm giving serious thought to a change in how I present my own slide shows based on your use of the square images. Lovely work.
Regards, Mark
Nice site. I'm with Matt: your color scheme rocks.
Mark
Wow. Beautiful work.

Just chiming in to add data. I have also seen this behavior with disappearing graphical masthead but was always able to fix it by clearing the template cache. I will now add Ben's better fix. Thanks.

Nice site. Beautiful work!

Skip the /customer_name login. It just frustrates users. You can create what you need by creating an individual Client Response Gallery for each customer. Each CRG can have a different password. You will need create an album in Lightroom for each customer. And in Lightroom you create each of these albums under a single instance of publisher that places all of these customer albums under the same top level gallery on your website. For consistency between pages use the same page template in Backlight as the basis for your gallery templates. See it in action here: http://marks-photos.com/client_proofs/
This is simply a top level gallery containing individual, password-protected albums for each user. To access each album you need a user name and password that you setup for the users in backlight with each user or customer brand name having a different login. Don't forget to set the integration option of the album in Lightroom to "Managed By Client Response Admin"
I'd start by creating a Publisher instance in Lightroom to put your client albums into. That publisher instance needs to be set to go to whatever top level gallery you are going to use to hold your albums. Right click the publisher instance> Edit Settings> Other publisher options> top-level galleries directory.
You can put a lot of individual albums in that directory depending on how many customers you have. My client_proofs directory content varies wildly depending on how many customers I have that have active proofs to look at.
Hope that gets you started. Mark
I went clicking around on your site for a bit...cart icons were gone initially. After going to about and info and then back via browser control, when I returned to your starting page the cart icons had appeared on each image. Strange. BTW I was using Vivaldi browser for this. You might search the forum for "cross domain" issues that result in font-awesome misbehaving. I had a similar problem.
Regards, Mark
Akismet, first of course. Google Analytics Dashboard for WP to get a rough idea about traffic to my site. Lastly, Updraft Plus - Backup and Restore because bad things happen to nice people all the time.

PS careful with caching plugins. Some of them don't play nice with TTG.
Good evening, it's 10pm here in the middle of the US which must make it about 7am in Finland, so good morning. When I go to your site and try to add a photo to the cart nothing happens. Cart icons are visible but that is all. Seems like I saw this behavior on my site when I did not have a default pricing scheme defined or did not have the images assigned to a pricing scheme. Might be something to check while waiting for other, more knowledgeable people, to wake up.
Regards, Mark
Following the excellent instructions, today's updates to Backlight - pages, theater, and wordpress all installed without incident. Everything is playing nicely with everything else.
Thanks guys, Mark
