Migration from CE3 to Backlight finished

Hi,

Finally it's done - or as done as ever done can be!

http://picsbymike.co.uk/

I went from CE3 to Backlight skipping CE4 altogether by doing a complete manual rebuild and taking the opportunity to change things considerably. I ran a test site alongside my old site in a sub-folder which worked fine.

The whole process went incredibly smoothly and Backlight is a joy to use - I had thought CE3 was pretty good but Backlight is just so much easier to work with. Thank you very much guys for a great product, and excellent customer support for those odd moments when one needs a helping hand or a prod in the right direction.

Looking forward to seeing what is in the pipeline!

Mike

Well that was fun to look at.
Those insect closeups are amazing. Which stacking software are you using?

I use Zerene Stacker - I also tried Helicon but found Zerene easier to use.

I too use Zerene on the few occasions I do focus stacking. Yours are amazing.

I must tell you how much I am impressed by your photographs. Great eye for pattern, color, and shape. Bravo.

As for migrating or rather rebuilding from CE3 to Backlight, you are an example for me, still plodding along trying to understand the subtilties of the latest TTG plugin.

Keep up the good work.
