http://new.3lightphotography.com/old%20 … angelica2/

the older version works perfectly on the new server

Hi Ben, I will email you and grant you access to check it out. Thank You!!!

#52 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » New Godaddy Cpanel with ttg-be » 2015-07-13 08:32:12

from what I can see, this is the version for the sql Server version: 5.5.41-cll-lve - MySQL Community Server (GPL) and PHP 5.4* (Also Support PHP 5.3-5.5), but i didn't ask about the SQLite and PDO but I can to see what they say about it

Do I email Ben from the link you posted?

Also thanks for all the help so far!

I should have left well enough alone and not switched servers to get faster service lol

#53 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » New Godaddy Cpanel with ttg-be » 2015-07-13 04:56:46

no they also see just a white page, but from reading the instructions it says for me to copy the ttg-be folder into the top level of my site, so i was wondering since i had to create a temp sub domain if that was why it was happening

#54 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » New Godaddy Cpanel with ttg-be » 2015-07-13 04:24:01

the original site is still on the older servers

www.3lightphotography.com/proofing/chrisjames

the new.3lightphotography.com is a subdomain that i needed to move everything over to first before reverting back to just the 3light part and removing the new, I called godaddy and they said from what they can see it's all right so i'm not sure what to do sad

I'm in the process of upgrading to the new godaddy cpanel servers and they had me create a subdomain from my original site so that I can migrate all my content over, but then i attempt to reach the site using the suburl to test it, it brings me over to just a white page, can someone help me with how to fix this? I want to make sure this works before I stop my old hosting plan all together.

thanks

here is the site link

the ttg-be folder is also in that level

Hi, when you click the leave feedback button, it give you 4 tick boxes with options 1-4 written in them, how does one change the names "option1" to something else? Maybe i'm not seeing it, sorry if it's easy.

Thanks!!!

Sure, here is a screen shot, it happens sporadically but it did happen a few times

Also this may be off topic, but I've noticed that some emails one or two of the numbers from the pictures come one off in order, which is strange.

Ah ok sorry, I thought I was doing something wrong, and sorry again for not being clear about social media, I just meant emailing the client on FB messenger not to make the gallery public is all, but either way no big deal. I do love the fact that you removed the search engine part though and Thanks for the response!

#63 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » excruciatingly slow gallery » 2015-02-17 09:24:38

Thank You Matthew!

I will try the masonry layout at 60% image quality and see how it loads as well. My current setting is 75%

#64 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » excruciatingly slow gallery » 2015-02-17 08:27:12

so it background loads the thumbs and the regular sized images, hmmm i thought it just loaded the thumbs then once clicked, it showed the bigger ones, either way the old layout seems to kick ass for loading times which i guess is good

Thanks again!

#65 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » excruciatingly slow gallery » 2015-02-17 08:18:37

140Kb? the thumbnails are 20kb to 16kb each, it's showing 140kb to you? that's so weird

Yes on the phone it loads fast and 1066 images on one page too which is fine

I recreated and uploaded the site two more times,

one with 150 images per page load times are quicker but still not efficient enough to give to a client

and I also created it without the masonry layout and that finally seemed to give me my original speeds that are acceptable.

I guess the masonry layout is a resource hog? when you have more than 100 images which is a shame because it's a very nice addition i think, hopefully later updates can maybe speed things up smile

Either way thanks guys!

it's a standalone uploaded to my site using the masonry layout and 250 max per page

I'm new to this version of the Response Gallery so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but the CRG is beyond slow even at 250 pics max on each page, the gallery takes forever to load and hangs up my browser to the point I can't do anything. The old CRG I had was CE 3.0.5 and even at 1000 pics max it loaded very fast. Can someone help and let me know what I may be doing wrong.

Thanks!

#69 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Feedback Email » 2015-02-16 13:34:36

hmmm, well that sucks, I love the new layout and ease of use, just seems to be an extensively long email if sending wedding proofs but maybe it will eventually be fixed in a revision. Thanks anyways

Hi maybe I'm not seeing this correctly but is there a way to edit what's sent to me Via the feedback email? The last part that says IMAGES and lists all the images and telling me that is was selected, options, comments1 & 2, I would like to get rid of this in my email. Is there a way to do so? Please let me know when you can. Thanks!
