Let me start by saying I hate to post here. 'Cause every time I do, it turns out to be something I should have been able to figure out myself. Anyhow, I have a couple of images that is not scaling correctly. The images are located here: http://photos.frankwhitephotography.com … d=1&pid=16 and here: http://photos.frankwhitephotography.com … d=1&pid=35
The first image (#16) is scaled as 683px × 1,024px (scaled to 813px × 773px) and the 2nd image (#35) is scaled as 1,024px × 683px (scaled to 508px × 773px).
Might it be scaling backwards? What do you suggest I do to fix these images (and others that might scale funky)?
Thanks in advance!
Damn. Thanks Rob. I really hate it when I use your time and efforts to solve something that I should have been able to.
hmmm, I just reloaded the page and now I've got the text identity displaying. Don't know if you did something or toggling the phpplugins back off had something to do with it. Anyhow, I'm going to try to get the identity plate from the graphics to work.
Hi Rod,
I just toggled it on this morning after reading Matt's post. I've turned it back off and still get the same behavior. Any more suggestions?
Thanks!
Changing the "theturninggate.php" plugin seems to have no effect. I sent you login credentials in case you'd like to poke around to see if you can't find why this changed. Let me know if you need FTP access.

MAIN SITE: ==> https://frankwhitephotography.com (client galleries links to Backlight)
I sent you an email with admin login credentials in case you want to look at the problem.
Thanks!
sometimes clearing template cache helps with strange things like this. Can you post a link to your site? I tried going to the links shown in your screen shot. One goes to an existing non-Backlight site. The other gives a message about an incorrectly configured server.
The Mast Head changed after I upgraded to backlight 1.0.3 began showing

Below are screen shots showing how I have backlight configured:
Would you help me with this?
Thanks
There's one in every forum and I'm it - the guy who can only make changes if shown step by step.
I'd like to change the color of the background header (located just above the main menu bar). I didn't see a way to do it in the designer modules and I'm hoping I can change it without having to result to custom.css (cause I have no idea how to custom.css a site). I'm hoping I simply missed the section for changing the color.
Can you help me?
I want the top bar to be black here: http://photos.frankwhitephotography.com/galleries
Whew! You guys scared me for a second. That fixed it. Thanks!
Actually, once I found Photoswipe, I turned it off, saved it. Then turned it back on, saved it. I also changed the values of download, and share - (turned them off, then saved it, and back on, saved it).
I can't find the Photoswipe presentation for the share button. I hope you haven't took it away and put it in a $40 add-on. $40.00 is a bit pricey just to allow my customers to download photos without right-clicking (the only feature I'm interested in at this time. Although, I do intend to add the eCommerce capability when it come available). Plus, if you did, then you're setting a precedence of baiting and switching.
Can you tell me where Photoswipe is?
Thanks!
After upgrading from v1.01 my share button (for downloading) is missing. I need a better way to give my clients the ability to download than asking them to right click? Must I deploy the CR add on to get this capability?
Also, how do I get rid of the vertical menu that showed in the newer version? It's distracting in my case (see http://photos.frankwhitephotography.com/galleries)
Thanks Ben for responding. After deploying Backlight Core on my existing website I can hardly wait for the shopping cart add-in. I believe Backlight with an easy and intuitive interface for purchasing images (and perhaps stuff like tee shirts) will take my revenue opportunities to new heights.
I'd be happy to be a production environment beta tester.

I'm using Backlight Core in conjunction to Joomla, a content management system.
I was able to create a work-around to solve my problem. I used the PHP location (redirect) tag to redirect calls from http://subdomain.tld.com to https://tld.com.
However, I wonder if anyone else running Joomla 3.x has experienced the same problem? Anyway, Blacklight is awesome. It's almost everything I wanted - just waiting on the shopping cart intergration.
Frank
I am running Joomla and when I install Backlight into a subdirectory (https://tld.com/backlight) I get the following error:
Unable to find the SQLite module. TTG BE requires both the PDO and SQLite modules. Make sure that both of these modules are enabled.
However, when I install Backlight into a subdomain (subdomain.tld.com) it installs but I can't redirect users to the main site (https://tld.com) because it defaults back to subdomain.tld.com
Company URL = https://tld.com
Site URL = http://subdomain.tld.com
I'm perfectly happy using the subdomain as opposed to the subdirectory if I can redirect users back to the tld.
Help.
Thanks
Hi Matthew,
Is a shopping cart plugin, addon or extension on the roadmap for backlight? If so, any ETA: weeks, months, years?
Thanks!
Frank
PS I didn't see a place in the Backlight section to post this question, hence it may get asked repeatedly.
