#26 Re: Backlight Support » Blue Control Panel? » 2016-09-05 03:58:17

Good call, that fixed it!

Rod, thanks for, yet another, "sanity-saving" sharing of knowledge.

Set up a Theater page with a Vimeo, video embedded.

Everything seems to work fine, except there is a non-operating, "Blue Control Panel" at the upper left of the screen.

Link to video embed page:   http://www.stanfriedmansight.com/galler … ing-still/

Note:there's only picture ('tis a silent video) on the clip.

Any ideas where it came from and how to get rid of it?

Oh, that's what that "eye"con means. Who would'a guessed?

Yet another "thank you" for quickly clearing up yet another mystery.

Cheers

Have a Vegas slide show set up and now want to hide it from the Album Set.

I've tried just checking "Hide from Album Set" and clicking "Edit"
I've tried checking "HfAS" and clicking "Edit" and re-publishing.
I've tried deleting the photos and reloading them.

Do I need to create a new slide show from scratch for the "Hide . . . . . . . " choice to work?  Or, am I (probably the case) just missing something simple?

Thanks, in advance!

Ben, the problem was exactly as you suspected and your fix worked perfectly and easily. Thank-you!

#31 Re: Backlight Support » "No products are available for purchase" » 2016-08-31 04:50:56

Hey Ben, thank-you for your quick and detailed reply. I completely overlooked the pricing scheme. Thanks too for the information on the "reset cart" link. Never, never would have figured that one out. Again, many many thanks!

Trying to set up a gallery with "cart" and I keep getting the window:

"No products are available for purchase"
"Please try again later, or contact the photographer if this problem persists."

Have no idea where to begin to fix this.

I have a trial gallery working just fine and am trying to get my "non-cart" galleries shifted over.

Thoughts?

#33 Re: Backlight Support » Two shopping carts! » 2016-08-28 03:31:15

Thanks! Much appreciated.

Just for the record, my "2nd" cart disappeared after I reset the "Add-ons" to "none" (had it on "cart", originally), then saved the change and then reset it to "Cart" and saved that change.

#34 Re: Backlight Support » Two shopping carts! » 2016-08-27 14:20:25

An additional question regarding the cart:  I can't find where the "Cart" or "Fotomoto" choice box is in the album set-up. Under "integration" I only have a choice of "Cart".  Did I miss something in the upgrade?

#35 Re: Backlight Support » Two shopping carts! » 2016-08-27 13:45:12

Let me/us know how your "tinkering" goes.  And thank you for considering this alternate scenario!

Just updated to 1.0.4

Three Questions:

Before upgrading, had set up a shopping cart to appear over my "enlarged" photos in the gallery.

Since upgrading, there are now two (2) identical shopping carts above the "enlarged" photos (the newest cart, I assume, is for the Fotomoto integration).

1.  How do I keep the Fotomot cart from displaying, right now?

A little further down the road, I'll want to have "both" the FM cart and my own cart (want to offer my own "fine art" prints along with the FM products.

2.  Will I be able to do that?

3.  Also, both carts look the same. In the future, how will I be able to differentiate "my" cart from the FM cart?

Cheers

#37 Re: Backlight Support » Image sorting order. » 2016-08-18 10:31:35

Thanks Ben, never would have figured that one out! Much appreciate the guidance. Cheers!

1.  The sort order that I've set in Lightroom does not match the sort order after I publish the galleries.

2.  When I modify a file name in the Lightroom Library, the file name in the published upload does not reflect the change.

Do these two publishing problems suggest particular problem/solution?

#39 Re: Backlight Support » Upgraded to 1.03 » 2016-07-14 10:10:23

Rod, Matt: thanks for the follow-up thoughts.

Somehow the menu "problem" just "corrected itself?! Sorry to bother you. Maybe just propagation time? Or a reload?

Just upgraded and notice the menu symbol on my iPhone is not there any more. How do I get it back?

I can still get to the menu by touching the area where the symbol should be. Same for leaving the menu.

Have an iPhone 5s.

On my laptop, the menu symbol in visible - and remains visible - as I shrink the window.

My url is www.stanfriedmansight.com

Your thoughts?

Thanks Matt. Two questions: 1) Suggestions for an inexpensive/free Markdown editor?, 2) Thoughts on a good tutorial/introduction to css? I'm completely mystified by style sheets.  Cheers!

Just climbed up onto a design plateau and can use some more experienced eyes to give feedback on my, Backlight, re-thoughtout site.  ANY feedback is most welcome. I'm a rank newby when it comes to the "under the hood" mysteries of site structure, but am curious/open to learn.

A big thank you, in advance, for suggesting "next possible steps", "you can do this better if you'd . . . . . . . " , and "what if you . . . . . . . . ?", plus . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Also, another thank you for the group/individual help that has shepherded me to this point!!!!!

Cheers

#47 Re: Backlight Support » Page number background color » 2016-05-27 14:57:05

Many thanks for the work-around. Yet another reason for me to learn how to juggle with CSS!

Where to I go to change the background color for the page numbers that appear in galleries when multiple pages are used?  Also, is there a way/place to change the fonts for the page numbers?
