Can't "hide from Album Set

Have a Vegas slide show set up and now want to hide it from the Album Set.

I've tried just checking "Hide from Album Set" and clicking "Edit"
I've tried checking "HfAS" and clicking "Edit" and re-publishing.
I've tried deleting the photos and reloading them.

Do I need to create a new slide show from scratch for the "Hide . . . . . . . " choice to work?  Or, am I (probably the case) just missing something simple?

If you're logged in as admin in that browser then hidden albums are shown in album sets with a "hidden eye" icon.
