What steps have you taken to recreate 4-winter? Have you removed the files and directory from the server before doing so?
The directory ttg-be/data is not a temp folder. It is the most important directory in your entire setup, that you shouldn't overwrite or remove.
Yes I removed the files and directory from the server before recreating and republishing the album 4-winter
when I deleted the ttg-be folder, the publisher folder was deleted. After copying the new ttg-be folder to my site, I then copied the new version of the publisher folder. It only has the following files:
/ttg-be/data/publisher/database_backups
.htaccess
index.html
I did end up replacing the entire TTG-BE folder, when it wasn't working and I had not contacted GoDaddy yet, so I did not know it did not work because a temp folder was missing.
The issue now, is when I recreate the publisher album and republish, no index file is created. Check out the winter gallery and you can see the missing files:
my publisher settings are to open the web page after publishing photos. When I published the new winter gallery, after publishing an attempt is made to open the gallery and I get the following message:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /galleries/4-winter/ on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I got TTG-BE fixed. When GoDaddy migrated my website, a temp directory was missing, which caused BE to not work. But it is working correctly now.
I tried deleting a gallery on the server and the album in publisher, recreated the publisher album (Winter), re-published, but the gallery (Winter) is not visible on the website.
Any suggestions
My galleries are no longer visible on my website, instead I get the message: "{"status":"error","message":"The album could not be found."}"
and when I try to republish them I get the following message:
Can't update this collection.
Unable to perform action:
getSetupForTemplate
Message: Renditions file is empty
Suggestions on how to fix?
got it fixed. It was a problem that resulted from GoDaddy migrating my site to a newer server.
also the contact page does not work after updating TTG-BE. I get this message:
session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/home/content/83/2320183/tmp/sess_vvhna10j7bq1alvqgboo20cbj3, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2)|#0 [internal function]: ErrorHandler::handleError() #1 /home/content/83/2320183/html/ttg-be/framework/init.php(94): session_start() #2 /home/content/83/2320183/html/lib.php(73): require_once('/home/content/8...') #3 /home/content/83/2320183/html/contact.php(95): require_once('/home/content/8...') #4 {main}|URL: /contact.phpUnknown: open(/home/content/83/2320183/tmp/sess_vvhna10j7bq1alvqgboo20cbj3, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2)|Unknown|0
I tried updating TTG-BE-201B. I keep getting the following message when I try to log in to TTG Be admin:
session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/home/content/83/2320183/tmp/sess_vvhna10j7bq1alvqgboo20cbj3, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2)|#0 [internal function]: ErrorHandler::handleError() #1 /home/content/83/2320183/html/ttg-be/framework/init.php(94): session_start() #2 /home/content/83/2320183/html/ttg-be/admin/index.php(17): require_once('/home/content/8...') #3 {main}|URL: /ttg-be/admin/index.phpUnknown: open(/home/content/83/2320183/tmp/sess_vvhna10j7bq1alvqgboo20cbj3, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2)|Unknown|0
I then deleted my ttg-be folder on my server and copied the TTG-BE0201B folder to my root directory, just like I did when I originally installed ttg-be. I still get the same message.
What should I do?
Thanks for the information. I will try out the flow with test credentials. During step 2, is the payment amount automatically carried over to PayPal, or does the buyer have to note the amount and reenter it at the PayPal site?
I have set up a test website with CE 4 Cart, but have not enabled the PayPal function. If I enable the PayPal function, what is the order of events that occur after the buyer has completed their shopping cart and click the Proceed to Checkout button?
1. On the next screen, name address etc. is there a PayPal button or do they click the Complete Your Order button and are automatically taken to a secure PayPal site where they can enter in their credit card information?
2. Do they enter in their credit card information on my site, which is not a secure website?
I want to understand how the process works using PayPal, the sequence of steps and whether or not the buyer is on a secure (SSL) PayPal site when they enter in their credit card information.
Thanks
Thanks
I am not clear on what the issues the other people are experiencing but I am not sure if what Ben is observing is the exact same issue I am encountering. It does fall under change issues, but in my case updating a change results in an error message and not defaulting to another pricing scheme.
After submitting an order the following appears:
Thank you for your order. Your invoice has been emailed to your photographer, and has also been copied to your provided email address for your records.
http://ioscapes.com/webtest/ttg-be/cart … 153383062d
Why does a link appear and how do I get rid of it?
follow up observation:
The error message seems to only occur when changing the size of the non default pricing scheme items. These are the items that have the pricing scheme name, either wide or pano, added to the Category meta data field. I say this based upon limited testing, but every time I change images that use the default pricing scheme (the Category field is left blank), the sizes successfully change. The problem so far has only occurred with the the non default pricing schemes.
Problem Changing Cart Item:
1. I add items to the cart and then click on view cart
2. I click the change button for one of the items
3. I change item image size
4. I click update button
5. I get the following message:
Fatal error: Call to a member function hasBasePrice() on a non-object in /home/content/p/h/o/photoradiant/html/webtest/ttg-be/cart/application/models/PricingSchemeGroup.php on line 138
This does not happen every time I change an item. Some times after clicking the update button, the shopping cart returns with the size updated.
Here is the URL to the test gallery:
http://ioscapes.com/webtest/galleries/test/
Any thoughts on why the Fatal error message appears?
good idea, clean the cache. Should have thought of that.
Thanks
I tried to set up the mixed pricing and some thing is not working correctly.
I enabled mixed pricing in the gallery template.
I set up a Product called, Standard Cotton
I set up a Pricing scheme called, Standard Cotton
In each image meta data I added under category, Standard Cotton
When I click on the shopping cart icon I receive a message indicating there is a problem:"No products are available for purchase
Please try again later, or contact the photographer if this problem persists."
When I leave image meta data category blank and click on the shopping cart icon the default Cart pricing/product scheme appears.
Here is the url for the test site:
http://ioscapes.com/webtest/galleries/test/
The first two images (SP-003-S and FA-025-S) meta data category has Standard Cotton. The other three images have a blank category field, so the default pricing scheme pops up.
What am I doing wrong?
I am in the process of setting up my cart. Initially I do not want to link PayPal to my website. What I want is:
1. Clients select an image, its print size and type (cotton print or gallery wrap) and add it to the shopping cart.
2. Submit their order along with their name, mailing address, phone number.
3. I receive an email with their order information.
4. I will set up an invoice for their order in PayPal with a link that will be emailed to them. Then they follow the link, review their order and pay using their credit card.
I currently use step 4, and want to continue using it until I feel that the shopping cart/ordering is working reliably and smoothly, then I may add the PayPal feature to the shopping cart.
How do I make sure PayPal is not enabled and that I will receive the email with their order information once they submit their order?
I spoke with GoDaddy and they said they will migrate my site to a new server. Hopefully this will correct the issue.
Thanks for this info. I will look over the blog post.
GoDaddy
Yes, I use Godaddy. Do you think I can request that they put me on a newer server? I will call them and ask them.
one addition thought: under the Managing Pricing Schemes documentation it states:
"To setup pricing schemes, either add or edit an existing pricing scheme. Give the scheme a name and select the products. The name given to a pricing scheme (e.g. 'default') is used for matching pricing profiles for galleries or individual images,"
The Album setup allows assigning a pricing scheme to an album, but the above suggests that pricing schemes can also be assigned to individual images. Does this mean I could assign a different pricing scheme for panorama proportion images (1X3) and another one for standard proportion images (2X3)? If so how do you do this?
