My galleries are no longer visible on my website, instead I get the message: "{"status":"error","message":"The album could not be found."}"
and when I try to republish them I get the following message:
Can't update this collection.
Unable to perform action:
getSetupForTemplate
Message: Renditions file is empty
Suggestions on how to fix?

could this be related to the ttg-be problem you were having?

I got TTG-BE fixed. When GoDaddy migrated my website, a temp directory was missing, which caused BE to not work. But it is working correctly now.
I tried deleting a gallery on the server and the album in publisher, recreated the publisher album (Winter), re-published, but the gallery (Winter) is not visible on the website.
Any suggestions

if you deleted an album from the server first, then that's created the problem. I think Ben is working on a way to fix that when it happens. For now, I think the cure is to go into the database. But I don't recommend that unless you know what you're doing. Best to wait for Ben to chime in.

my publisher settings are to open the web page after publishing photos. When I published the new winter gallery, after publishing an attempt is made to open the gallery and I get the following message:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /galleries/4-winter/ on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What steps did you take to upgrade your site? Did you by chance replace the entire ttg-be folder?

Can you look in the folder ttg-be/data/publisher/database_backups/ using FTP and post the filenames in there, if any?
Offline
I did end up replacing the entire TTG-BE folder, when it wasn't working and I had not contacted GoDaddy yet, so I did not know it did not work because a temp folder was missing.
The issue now, is when I recreate the publisher album and republish, no index file is created. Check out the winter gallery and you can see the missing files:

What steps have you taken to recreate 4-winter? Have you removed the files and directory from the server before doing so?
The directory ttg-be/data is not a temp folder. It is the most important directory in your entire setup, that you shouldn't overwrite or remove.

when I deleted the ttg-be folder, the publisher folder was deleted. After copying the new ttg-be folder to my site, I then copied the new version of the publisher folder. It only has the following files:
/ttg-be/data/publisher/database_backups
.htaccess
index.html

Yes I removed the files and directory from the server before recreating and republishing the album 4-winter

I basically recreated the ttg-be folder, publisher folder, and gallery template folder, from scratch, completely eliminating the old. So shouldn't I be able to publish gallery albums? Why is 4-winter missing the index and other files after it is publishes?

That's strange. Can you email me the ttg.log file? You should be able to find it under My Documents or Documents in your computer's home directory.

just emailed it to you. Thanks for your help

Thanks Ken. I can't see anything amiss from your log file. Can you try logging in to http://www.ioscapes.com/ttg-be/publisher/admin and clicking the Update Album Files link on the Dashboard? That should copy over any missing files.

I think at this point the simplest thing would be delete every folder except the media folder, start from scratch and install TTB-BE and publisher, then the gallery and pages templates. Then recreate each publisher album and republish. Shouldn't this work? This is what I thought I was doing, starting with the winter gallery, but it does not publish properly. So I am at a loss how to even start from scratch.

I will do that now.
The album files were updated successfully for 1 Album and 0 Album Set

I take that back, the files are there now. But I get the message "Unable to find gallery.xml. The gallery can not be found." when I click on the winter gallery link.

Would you be able to change the Guest Admin's role to Administrator, set a strong password and email it to me? That will let me look at the publisher database to see if sheds any light on the problem.

I suspect what has happened is that the album was still in the database. When you created it again in Lightroom, Publisher didn't copy over the necessary files or create the gallery.xml file. Unfortunately, the Update Albums link doesn't recreate gallery.xml files. If you can provide the guest admin is described above then I'll be able to confirm that this is the case.

Thanks. My suspicions were wrong. Do you mind if I try publishing a test album to your server?
