In CRG thumbnail view, is there a way to move the “heart” selection box from the top right of the thumbnail to the lower left? This would align it horizontally with the comment selection box, under each thumbnail, vs the current vertical right alignment.
Thanks
Got it. Thanks for the reminder on that.
Thanks Rod for looking at this.
It appears to be working now, after republishing the photos in the album.
Reminder to self: Republish album photos after making changes to Album templates / Products / Pricing schemes ...
Note I have not setup anything with PayPal, as I assumed it is not required required for free digital downloads (?)
Confirmed that all shipping methods (standard and standard-international) have a price value for every field, including: "Show Additional Charges for Print"
Backlight 2
Trying to set up the Cart for free downloads; after selecting the cart on an image, I get the message:
"No products are available for purchase; Please try again later or contact the photographer if the problem persists"
Link to problematic Album:
http://jwdimages.net/galleries/ucsc-lick-observatory/
I took the following steps to implement the Cart:
1. Created Album Template (Pangolin Album) “Default - Cart” with Cart add-on enabled
2. Templates / Default - Cart / Design / “Generate Photos for Purchase” = On
3. Cart / pricing schemes / ”default” has “Digital Download” Product assigned to it (status = complete)
4. Cart / pricing schemes / default / Manage Pricing / Min order Amt = 0; Digital Download Price = 0.0
5. TTG Publisher / Edit Album / Base Settings / Template = “Default - Cart”
6. TTG Publisher / Edit Album / Integration / Enable Cart / Cart Pricing Profile = “default”
7. {Template Design / Album Settings / Photo Presentation / Downloads = Disabled)}
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff
Thanks for the support
I have emailed Ben with ftp login info.
The site is using php 5.6.30
Thanks Rod
Confirming that the following were copied from the BL2 installer into site root:
backlight/ (content sans data and custom copied into site/backlight)
galleries
index.php (moved original site version to backup location)
.htaccess (moved original site version to backup location)
I can plan to support further debug
Thanks
Continuing this BL1 to BL2 update
After this step:
"After a moment, you should be informed that “Backlight 2 was installed successfully”. From here, press “Continue to Backlight”."
I get the following error message:
"Something went wrong
Unable to find pageTemplate with ID 77. Try updating the selected template for the application. in EngineFactory.php on line 36"
Any thoughts?
That clarifies it
Thanks Rod
In upgrading from BL1 to BL2
Please clarify if I copy the (new BL-2 Installer) backlight folder over the (previous) backlight folder (now containing backlight/data and backlight/custom) ?
1) "Delete or move aside everything from within /backlight except for /backlight/data and /backlight/custom"
- now I have the following folded remaining: (/backlight/data /backlight/custom)
--> 2) "Copy the files from within the ZIP to your server" (.htaccess, index.php, galleries, backlight)
Thanks,
Jeff
Thanks Rod
I left out potentially relevant info:
My LR catalog lives on Dropbox, so I currently manage LR from both computers, albeit only one at a time. I also keep the TTG web templates and web engines in the same locations on both computers.
But so far I have only made site design changes from the MBP, due to a nagging concern that something might get sideways in the TTG modules.
From your post it sounds like site changes should be doable from both computers; I'll just have to keep the templates and engines in synch.
I'll also check out he LR Voyager plugin; hadn't heard of that before.

Is it possible to manage my site (TTG Web bundle + Stage) from two computers ?
I installed the site from my Macbook, and all is working well.
I would like to also be able to manage it from an iMac (upload photos from LR, change site behavior, etc.), but I'm not clear if this would create issues.
Any other's experiences doing this ?
Thanks
Jeff
jwdimages.net
D'oh!
That would do it.
I overlooked that it will either "replace template page copy" or "position new copy above/below existing page copy"
Sounds like this feature would be useful in having a baseline template, and then be able to make variations on this with different albums.
Thanks once again Rod.
I have a CE4 Publisher managed home page created with CE4 Stage.
The Page Copy text in The Block (Stage/Color Palette/Content Description) does not show up when I publish the Galleria slideshow to the web server: jwdimages.net
- The text is present in the Stage page preview.
- The "Display on page" box is checked.
- I replaced photos in the galleria via the Publisher, and verified that the gallery/page is active
- The LR library album:
- is using the Stage template
- slug is "pages-gallery"
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks Rod.
I have not customized the phplugins.php, so the newly exported phplugins.php should work.
But I will keep a working copy of this and the custom.css
If the phplugins has been overwritten, any recommendations on best way to get back in synch?
Will it work to just rename the latest phplugins-sample?
I have the CE4 Web Publishing Bundle installed and CE4 Stage
Thanks. It sounds like overwriting with the latest export works ok.
I'm using FileZilla, set to "overwrite if newer". However, for some reason it does not overwrite some folders, so I manually deleted the previous and uploaded the new folders.
When uploading, it uploads a phplugins-sample folder. Do you delete the older phplugins folder, and rename the new one?
When I export and upload Pages files with changes, what is the best practice for dealing with the existing files in the root directory (public_html)? Is it recommended to just ftp and replace with newer files, or best to erase the current corresponding contents before uploading?
Thanks
Ok thanks much; that clarifies it.
I'll get the Stage module to enable a publisher managed slideshow on the home page.
A little more info:
When I initially set up the home page using Pages, I had the Galleria slideshow enabled enabled.
Then I added in the Publisher and am able to manage the home page (and galleries) via LR Library, but don't see how to get back to the home page Galleria slideshow - and have the publisher managed home page.
Thanks
Thanks Rod
I don't believe Stage was included in the web publishing bundle.
Is CE4 Stage required to have a publisher managed home page?
I'm trying to have a publisher managed home page with the Galleria slide show.
I currently have a publisher managed home page, using a gallery installed in ttg-be/templates/gallery. This generates a grid view of images, but I don't see how to enable a slide show.
Thanks for any ideas.
That fixed it.
On the Pages -> Site Info -> Website -> Site root field I removed the "public_html"
Thanks very much for the direction.
