Can I do this again...

I last looked at TTG last year, before Backlight but didn’t make the jump. So I’m back again, asking the same question: Can I have a large image on its own page - rather than a pop-up - with a caption and other info below? I originally posted in

http://community.theturninggate.net/vie … hp?id=5952

which was helpfully answered by Rod Barbee who demonstrated CE4 could do what I wanted

Can I do this with Backlight?

Yeah, I think so. Create an "Album Template" and under "Large Image Presentation" choose "Presentation Type: Single-Image Pages" followed by the settings you can set a bit down.
Regarding the caption, you can set them also within this setup menu. Just scroll up to "Image Settings" and you will find them under "Image Metadata". Don't know about your needs, just try it smile

Yes. There are a few of ways. Using the Theater add-on and choose the Still Image presentation.
for example:http://backlight-rb-test.barbeephoto.com/galleries/still-image-test/

Use any sort of page/album/album set and use html to insert an image and caption.

Images in albums can also have a permalink. For example: http://backlight-rb-test.barbeephoto.co … single.php
