Speed and the Beach Ball

Are there any steps to maximise process speeds when refreshing or switching templates etc?
(Mac OS).
Thanks

Re: Speed and the Beach Ball

Fewer files in the filmstrip, or work with a filmstrip of JPGs instead of RAW files (then substitute the RAWs back in for export as a final step).

Re: Speed and the Beach Ball

Thanks Matt, I've been doing that already.

Deleting unused engines or templates wouldn't make any difference?
