I understand that some dislike disabling the mouse right click, but I am fed up with having images stolen, albeit low res images. I have the phplugin script all working now and the right mouse click is disabled, however, I note on my iPad that I can still double tap images within my galleries and save them.
Is there a way of stopping this on the ipad or am I just I left with the option of a huge copyright watermark across the centre of every image?

Some browsers won't (quite rightly) let you disable the right click whatsover.

The latter.
I thought that would be the case!

Kris, why do you say quite rightly? Just curious...

Because a website should never interfere with the functionality of the web-browser.

Because I right click / back all the time when browsing, and anything which forces me to move my mouse all the way (!) to the top left of my screen just to move back a page incurs my wrath.

Thank you both. I had no idea. I use an apple magic mouse so I finger-swipe to move from page to page. The Wordpress theme I use optionally disables right click image download. Since visitors can just as easily screenshot anything they want to, I will remove the right click disable / block knowing it causes frustration for other users. Thanks for the info.
