losing the thread to start....

Hej to all....
i am a little bit confused... sorry...

Please give a Newbie a little help to start with the first LR-TTG Website....

What i mean to understand...
1. i start with CE3 - Pages to build the skeletal structure. Therefore i have to give the name, locations, etc.
2. i export that "building" to lokal harddisk and after that i copy the files with ftp to my Webspace.
3. and now....?

Now i think - and that is where i am losing the thread - i have to choose - under "Web" in LR - the modul CE-Gallery.
But now there are a lot of empty fields i filled in CE-Pages.... Do i have to do that here again? Is that right?

And after that... How does CE-Pages work together with CE-Gallery? And when do i have to start with the publisher?
I didn´t understand these steps...

I read the manual several times but i can´t cut the knot in my head....

Am i right in doing that step´s, or are they wrong?

You will have to fill things out again when creating a new gallery. But you'll only need to do this once if you remember to save what you've done with the Template Browser: http://ce3wiki.theturninggate.net/doku. … te_browser

You can then apply your template to any new galleries you create.

You can also share settings (colors, fonts, etc) between templates from different TTG CE2 plugins, which will save you lots of time: http://ce3wiki.theturninggate.net/doku. … en_engines

Have you read the beginner's guide yet? It should help you see how galleries and Pages work together:  http://ce3wiki.theturninggate.net/doku. … publishing

I'd suggest first getting comfortable with how things work by creating, exporting, and uploading a few test galleries before you start using Publisher. What Publisher will do is save you from needing to create, export, and upload every time you want to add another gallery or modify an existing one.
But I think it's easier to understand what Publisher does once you understand how the TTG system works. So start with that beginner's guide and see if some of those knots can be cut
