I've been fiddling around with my masthead this morning, I've now run out of work to do
I've got a background gradient in the masthead and my transparent logo sits over that:
header{
background: linear-gradient(white,#70bcea);
}
Now this works absolutely fine for desktop and ipad displays, but the gradient doesn't show up on an iphone. Could anyone point me to a CSS tip so I can get this to work on a mobile display please?
Thanks
Steve

there may be a different selector for the mobile masthead or you may need a media query. can you share a link to the site so we can see what’s already there?

Thanks Rod, I was looking at media query but couldn't make it work in the iphone - had some success with it on the ipad (when turned to portrait orientation) though.

when I look on my ipad or iPhone I’m seeing the gradient background with your logo on both devices.
on both, the flower in the upper right gets obscured, on the iPhone in portrait orientation it’s completely hidden by the mobile menu.

Thanks for looking Rod. That's not the same for me and I've cleared the cache as well - mine's an iPhone 7, which one are you using?

hopefully someone else will come along and look on their phone.
Probing the page with the Inspector shows that the css is being applied.
