The magnifying glass icon background on my Search page is now white or clear'

I'm sure it used to be black so I guess I've changed something but no idea what.
Can you offer any pointers please.

Look in the page template, Top pallet button color. I think that’s it.
If you need it to be different than other buttons, then you’d need custom css

Changed the button colour to Black in my 'Page-Home-2 Column' template but it made no difference.

Go to the page template under Typography and look for buttons

Got it.
I was changing the Text colour but it was the Background colour I had to change so it would show up against our main white background. The Text colour was only changing the Magnifying Glass icon......which makes perfect sense.....now!
