it probably means that the page template you've assigned to the cart is no longer available.
Go to Backlight > Cart > Settings > Personalisation and assign another template

I have tried with a couple of templates. Get the same warning with both. templates work on other pages.

Is it a Pangolin page template or an old Okapi page template? I don't know if it will make a difference. But if it's an Okapi template, try creating a Pangolin template. You may need to have a Pangolin template with the BL2 version of the Cart

I followed your instructions to copy cart from another web site. Would this have anything to do with it?
I copied this file backlight/data/cart/master.sq3 from one site to this one.

I think that was Ben's advise. I don't think it should make a difference since you can change the cart template in Settings anyway.

I just tried copying over the same file from one of my test sites to another. All the cart info came over, including the template ID assigned for the Cart template
When I created a cart enable album I ran into the same problem as you.
Assigning a page template fixed it.
Try clearing template cache and browser cache.
Also try resetting the cart (from the Cart dashboard)
you can also try viewing from a different browser and/or logging out of Backlight then logging back in.
