The Backlight docu says the plug-in is part of the Backlight download, but I can not find it.

Are you referring to Backlight 1 or Backlight 2?
If Backlight 2, the Lightroom Publisher plugin is available for download on the Backlight Modules page

Thank you very much, Rod. I managed to publish one album of 9 images from LR. Now just carrying on in Backlight to make it show up somewhere. Ha Ha.
