I don't know if Ben was releasing a numbered update or a silent update. You could try going to your Backlight Modules page and clicking on Reinstall All.

I've just applied the patch to the publisher. To update it:
1. Visit Backlight Module
2. Click Reinstall on the line for module-publisher, if the link is present. Otherwise click Reinstall All under Backlight 2
