I have switched on the Metadata display in order to show either {Title} or {Caption} in my thumbnails, then I republished my galleries from Lightroom and no title or caption is shown. The same happens with the images that I processed with Capture One and published after uploading them directly from the Publisher. I tried several times and the problem persists. I wonder why...the only thing that appears is the Filename, although I put "Caption" and/or "Title", I never asked for "Filename"!

Can you post a link to an album?
Have you tried clearing browser cache?

See here....five times I uploaded the same image thinking that I was forgetting something in the metadata, and some exhibit now the filename, others not..

P.S. I have cleared the web browser data and template cache...the same happens with the gallery Black and White that was republished using LR

the only thing I can think of is that perhaps you're making changes to the wrong album template.
The template that album is using has an ID number of 27 (album-template-id-27)

some news: I see that in the web page figures the name "first pangolin album template ID 27". The point is that that was the original name of my first template prepared win Pangolin; but in the meantime, the name was changed simply to "album pangolin" and once the name was changed, several properties were changed as well, among them the Metadata exhibition...I don't know if this could be the problem, but I don't understand why the name of the template wasn't change during all this time...I cleared cache several times..

P.S. should I update Album Files?

I did not assigned an ID to any of my templates...their corresponding boxes are empty....so ...how could I check if the number 27 is the right one?
Agustin
on the templates page you can hover over the name of the template and look at the end of the url. the last number is the ID number

at this point we can only guess.
Consider posting Backlight Guest Updater credentials so someone can take a look
