I cannot find another page template than the home page template currently used by my site. It is not a theatre type page.
you need to create one. There's a link on the page that Daniel mentions above with instruction on how to create a full page template.

So, I have a basic Pangolin page template used thru-out called "PAGES-pideja". Then, I have a Pangolin Theater module type album called "introduction"
In the inspector, the images do not appear!
they're listed in the script in the page source code (right click on page, choose "view source")

Thanks, Rod,
I have to learn that literary names with special characters is never a good idea in the context of programming!

Is the image size control in Backlight settings or must I size each image in an image editing software?
All images are sized 919 x 616, all identical. I set the Album Settings>Presentation>Max.-width to 1440px; the aspect ratio is 4:3 not exactly a fit but close. Will be adjusted later; Vegas slideshow, inline type. In Album Settings>Image Renditions>Photos I set the width at 900px and the height at 600px.
So, why do I still have that 16:9 slideshow stage?
Why can't I get the border to be black?
Any way to shut down that line going from left to right?

This works for me. Did you clear the template cache (Backlight>Designer>Templates>Clear Template Cache)? And the width shouldn't be 0.
Any way to shut down that line going from left to right?
Set "Show Timer" to Off.

like all Backlight album templates, the image size is controlled in the template.
Try clearing template cache to see if that clears up the aspect ratio and border issues.
for that line, try turning off the Show Timer control

What did you set for Image Scaling? Fit?
For my slideshow, I create the image with the aspect ratio and size in Lr with the target dimension I like to have in the slideshow.

Size of image OK; Black border OK; show controls set to OFF and not displayed OK.
All that's left is to find a way to have a smoother, longer, cross-fade.

Look at the controls.
You have Slide Delay time and Transition Effect to play with
And if you want to change the fade time: https://ttg-tips-and-tricks.barbeephoto … ide-shows/

Very nice, thank you Rod. I remember dealing with this issue a couple of years ago. You probably helped me then, too!
It's a matter of practice, I guess. I start a project but not in a continuous sequence. Things drag out. And, by the time I finish and then start a new project, some of the quirks and settings tend to be forgotten.
