Hello!
I am completely new to Backlight and need help on generating stand alone galleries.
I have the lightroom plugins for galleria and really need to know how to do this.
Thanks in advance!

Backlight does not support stand alone galleries.
If you have Backlight, you should use the Backlight Galleria add-on. (Backlight 2 version is what’s available)
If you still want to use the old TTG Galleria Lightroom Web Module plug-in, export and upload the slide shows to your site (I suggest you create a folder to hold such galleries) and then create menu links to those galleries.

Hi Rod,
Thanks for the quick response!
Yes, I do have Backlight2 with the Galleria add on. I just purchased the package yesterday and have installed the plug in to lightroom cc classic.
Are stand alone galleries possible with this configuration?
Thanks!

PS Sorry for not being clearer about that in the first post!

The plugin that installs in Lightroom is the TTG Publisher. You can use this to create your albums.
But first you’ll need to create an album template using the Backlight Galleria Add-on. See the documentation for how to create albums

Thank You Rod!
Yes, all of that is completed, but wanted to just export to a local folder so that I can put on a usb drive to share with clients, and not to the Backlight2 server folder.
I will take another look at all of this.
Thanks Again!

That is not possible with a Backlight.
You should be able to do it with the TTG Lightroom plugins that are still available: http://theturninggate.net/lr-plugins/

Hi Rod,
I exchanged emails with Matt this morning about this question. Here is the answer...
I just wanted to generate stand alone, masonry grid galleries out of the web module in Lightroom, so Matt directed me to the 2018 Lr Plugins page on the Turning Gate site where I purchased the 2018 Masonry Gallery plugin and should be set to go.
Thanks again for your quick responses last night!
Best Regards,
Vic
