Hi Folks
I have had a long look and tried many things but I can't get my WP Theme to work at all.
Selected a Page for the Theme -> Exported Theme Successfully to WP -> The Theme shows in WP list but when doing a Live Preview or on Activation I get "The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions."
All the sample themes work fine.
I am obviously missing something...
Cheers
Jeff

Is WordPress up to date?
Are Backlight and the WordPress module up to date?
Are all plugins up to date?
Are there any plugins that haven’t been updated by the developer in a long time?
Could there be a plugin conflict?
Try disabling all plugins.
If the theme activates without error, activate plugins one by one until you get an error.

Hi Rod
"WordPress Updates

I have disabled all the plugins anyway, but still no joy.

He may have meant phplugins. Check the page template you’re using for your theme. It’s under Advanced Setup.
Usually, phplugins won’t disable a theme, but it’s something to check.

The setup seems to be fine - WP forums suggest a server restart after the upgrade to the latest, so I might get my Hosting to do that... Thanks Guys

Rod - actually the php plugin did disable my site - I was trying to use the page scroll up function on the WP page similar to all of the other pages and galleries on my site, but it failed. When I disabled it the WP page worked fine. I’m ok with it disabled on that page so no big deal. Just thought you’d like to know.
