are you referring to your copyright appearing in the Caption area rather than a caption in some albums?
have you tried republishing those particular albums?
I don't have the catalogs for them anymore (except for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 which I did republish). Ben extracted the remaining data from the CE4 site.

What i would like to see is the Caption on the thumbnail and both the Caption and Copyright on the slideshow large renderings. I had it set up this way in CE4 and CE3 but we don't seem to have those controls in Backlight.

You can do that.
Use Metadata 1 in the thumbnails and just using the Caption token
In the Caption field for the large image (Photo Presentation section of the template), use the Caption and Copyright tokens along with any additional text you'd like. For example:
{Caption}. Copyright {Copyright}

OK. I did both of those things and got the thumbnails to show only the Captions (which is what I want) but the photo Presentation still only shows the Copyright even though the token says {Caption} Copyright {Copyright}
For a sample of the presentation I would like to achieve see http://photoimpressions.org/galleries.php and open any set and view the slideshow. This is a CE4 site that is running on a host that still supports php v5.6. I am not looking forward to THAT migration!

There should be no issues migrating from a straight CE4 site to Backlight. I can take a look in advance via the admin and FTP to see if there’s anything strange about it.
CE4 sites should work fine on PHP 7. It may need a few file updates to the latest versions.

Thanks Ben, perhaps you could give me a list of those updates when you have a chance. Or just point me in the right direction.

I would have to go in via FTP and the TTG BE admin to see what needs updating. Does your control panel provide options to choose between PHP 5.6 and 7?

Just to close this. Ben and I went off line and he helped me resolve all outstanding issues. Thank you very much Ben, you went way beyond the call of duty.
