Map button - bizarre result

I have just come back to TTG after some years, now on a Mac rather than Windows. Using the free TTG 2014 Gallery I added my photos and when I previewed them in my browser and clicked the Map button I am taken to a completely different place on the earth! e.g. photo with GPS 17°42'43.531" N 83°18'49.729" E  in the metadata should show somewhere in India, when in the gallery takes me to 42°51'51.0"N 19°01'09.0"E in Montenegro (Europe). What is going wrong?!

Can TTG / Backlight produce a gallery with a small map in the same window showing where the photo was taken?

Re: Map button - bizarre result

I can’t help with the first question, but as to the second, the answer is no.

Rod, thanks for the reply. I had a feeling I was asking too much. I still cannot understand what is happening with the GPS coordinates. Other photos in India come out in Saudi Arabia!

Re GPS:

There was an issue that popped up a while ago with CE4. Rod found that the Lightroom export using the web module caused wrong GPS data. The TTG 2014 Gallery uses the web module export as well. Looks like this is the same issue.

Backlight is not affected by this Lightroom Classic behavior/bug.

Daniel, you have a better memory than I do. And that was less than a year ago!
