When I try to publish a collection of images from Lightroom CC to Backlight 2 I get the following error message:
"Can't update this collection.
An internal error has occurred:
TTGPublishServiceProvider.lua:668: attempt to index field 'renditions' (a nil value)"
The API Authentication Key is valid. Could somebody help me sort this out please. Thanks.

make sure you're using the latest TTG Publisher Plug-in for Lightroom. The latest version is 4.0.7. you can check what you have in Lightroom's plug-in Manager.
You can download the plugin from your Backlight Modules page. It's at the top.

Rod, thanks for your response. Publisher is version 4.0.7. All the modules are up to date. I also checked the PHP version (GoDaddy) - it was 7.2. I switched it to the latest version (7.3) and tried to publish again. Same error message. Can you think of anything else I should try?

You should probably send an email to Ben. Include a link to this topic, Backlight admin credentials, and FTP credentials.
He may also need the logs. There are a couple of them:
On the server: /backlight/data/publisher/logs/ Probably the latest log file in that folder.
On your computer: in the Documents folder, look for ttg.log

I noticed something when I tried to publish an album from Lightroom (Backlight 2). I got a similar error message as wsawka, but noted that the version of TTG Publisher Plug-in was still 3.xx even though I had "added" the 4.xx version. I then deleted the old one and installed the new one and all was well. I don't think that the documentation says to uninstall the old version.
Hope that helps some fellow Backlighters.
