I've gotten to a final version of my site completed ( www.hookephoto.com ) through lots of trial and error. Most of the problems I've experienced are problems I myself created by over complicating things. The beauty and simplicity of Backlight really is something to embrace. Thanks to all the people who have contributed to this forum and the wonderful advice of Ben, Rod and others too many to thank on this site. Since I view my photography and my site as a constantly evolving art please leave any comments to improve so I can continue to grow.
Kudos to the backlight Community !!!!!!

Nice looking site, Thom.
I have one piece of feedback, though, and it's that the navigation menu is very difficult to read, being white on tan. I'd use higher contrast colors to improve legibility.
