Is is possible to have the image title and / or caption display during the presentation of a slide show on a MOBILE device? It does this in Highslide presentations.
If it is not possible now, might it be an option in the future?

If we're talking about Photoswipe in the mobile gallery, Photoswipe already displays captions. Users may tap any image to bring up the caption and navigation controls. If you have enabled the Conconenate Headings + Captions option in gallery setup, then both the title and caption will be displayed.

Agree. Photoswipe displays the caption until the slide show starts. Then the caption disappears.

And if the visitor wants the caption back, they can bring it.

Do you mean they have to stop the slide show?

I mean they have to tap on the image to bring up the interface.

Just had my third request to be able to see captions while watching a slide show. The latest:
How do you make the slide show go and still keep your titles showing? When I touch the slide show arrow the captions disappear. I'd really like to keep seeing the captions
Hope there is something you can do. I have to tell them to watch the show on a PC or Mac.

Set the Caption & Toolbar Autohide slider to 0.

It was already set to that. Just to be sure I regenerated my Publisher template and republished the Africa Highlights album on my web site: www.photos.creditech.ca
Just to confirm, this is only an issue with mobile devices.

something to think about: if the caption is always showing, there's a chance that it's always hiding part of the image (depends on orientation of the device and the the image). And with the small mobile screens, I'd personally rather not have the toolbar and caption bar obscuring the top and bottom of images.
Plus, even if you could keep the caption on during the show, the user would still have to tap the screen to hide the caption and view the whole image.
And looking at the Photoswipe site, I'm not sure you even can leave the captions displayed while a show is running. I don't see an option for that.

If the auto hide is set to 0, then that's all you can do short of hacking the Photoswipe script itself. Your visitors should be able to keep the captions visible when swiping, but Photoswipe is hardcoded to hide them during the slideshow.
