CE4 CRG HTTP Error 500

I have never managed to get the CE4 CRG to work. I get an Error 500 when trying to view a published page. I matched the template name in the TTG-BE. My PHP version is 7.0.33

I would appreciate help troubleshooting and getting this working.
Thank you

Re: CE4 CRG HTTP Error 500

can you point to a specific album or gallery?

I matched the template name in the TTG-BE

What exactly to you mean by this?

Re: CE4 CRG HTTP Error 500

I mean that I went into the TTG-BE and selected the template name that I uploaded to the templates area as the default template (CRG Settings > CRG Template)

500 errors are difficult to diagnose.  All it means is that 'something failed' on your server.  Can you provide me with the exact steps to see the error, FTP and any TTG admin access needed via email.

That is for the page the client sees when logging into their sites (if using Managed Albums):
http://www.bringacamera.com/ttg-be/crg/

Did you also assign that template to your albums when publishing?

Re: CE4 CRG HTTP Error 500

I sent an email to Ben re FTP and TTG-BE access. Yes, I created a CRG template, uploaded it to TTB-BE>Templates and then used Publisher, using the template that successfully appears in the drop-down list for the site. This all happens with no error message. The final step is to view the published album and that is when I get the Error 500. I should note that non-CRG galleries continue to upload and work without issue.

Re: CE4 CRG HTTP Error 500

I should note that when I click "Assign Albums" under Client Management I get the following error:

Re: CE4 CRG HTTP Error 500

That’s a good clue and something Ben will likely be able to work with,
Looks like it could be a database issue.

What version of the Publisher plugin are you using?

Re: CE4 CRG HTTP Error 500

Ben told me that my publisher version was old. I had gotten the updates and thought I had installed them correctly. Ben explained that if I copy the new Publisher version to the web I must then access the settings page in ttg-be for the new version to install and update the database. I did this and everything was working.

Thank you.
