Hi
I have an existing website (not Wordpress) with a Galleries page I created in CE3. http://fromcameratoprint.com/
I decided to upgrade to Backlight2 for ease of updating albums.
I read the advice here about installing within an existing site - not using .htaccess at root level etc, and can successfully generate albums on the site.
Here's an example of my test http://fromcameratoprint.com/Backlight- … Album-Try/
But I cannot find how to customise the look and feel of the new gallery/album (as I could do in CE3) to mimic my existing menu structure.
I have played about with Desgner/Templates, Designer/Menu Sets, and Designer/Pages without getting anywhere.
Have I simply not tried hard enough, or is there a fundamental structure built into Backlight that won't enable what I want to do?
Sorry if this is a dumb question. Backlight seems to be the way to go, but only if I can integrate the galleries sensibly.
Cheers
Tim

It’s hard to advise without knowing what you’ve tried,
Your album looks to be using the default album template.
Have you created a new Page Template?
If so, did you assign your new page template to the album template that your album is using?
If you’ve been changing the Default page template settings, did you save the settings?
