Hi, recently added an SSL to my site, made the changes to add the REWRITE to the .htacess file through Backlight Settings and updated the Publisher Album/Album Sets as per the instructions. Made any changes required to ensure that all the http: modified to https: Everything works fine (all my pages, carts, CRG's, albums and album) no errors except for the Search page it still reports the Only secure content is displayed. There must be a place in the code somewhere in Backlight that must have an http: call to search that needs to be modified maybe or am I missing something?

Can you post a link to your site so that Matt and Ben will have something to look at?
Are you using Backlight 1 or 2?

Follow-up on MS Edge Browser, it appears it works most of the time on my desktop but a few times it does fail when accessing the search page. I also changed settings on each of the browsers and clearing cache but still not working when accessing the page. Also, on android MS Edge also fails when accessing the search page. It also does not work on Safari on iOs as well. So, I do not think it is a browser issue at this point. Just finished testing all possible scenarios except using other browsers such as Opera, Firefox but as I said I do not think it is a browser issue. Hmmm Maybe Matt and Ben can come up with a solution.

This is why I asked about which version you were using.
There is no setting in Backlight 1 to make the .htaccess rewrite settings, that’s in Backlight 2.
The .htaccess file that needs changing is the one in the root of your site, not the one for albums that’s accessible in Advanced Settings.

By, the way it does seem to work once I added it to the Advanced Settings under Backlight 1 just not for the search page. However, I will try adding the REWRITE's it at the root directory.

Then why does it show up in Backlight Settings in Backlight 1? I have not installed Backlight 2.
In Backlight 2, under Privacy, is a switch to turn on the rewrite. So no need to edit the file in the root of the site.
The file content shown in Advanced Settings is for albums and album sets.
I don’t know why the rest of the site (except search) is rewriting to https.

Rod, That did not work, still the same issue.
Ben will need to look into it.
You can save some time by sending him an email with Backlight Admin and FTP access along with a link to this topic.

Clearing the cache should have fixed it. I wasn’t able to log into your Backlight, but achieved the same effect for the search page by visiting
https://www.keylightphotography.us/backlight/search/?reCache
Normally you would do this via the Designer menu in Backlight.
