Is it possible to not have the masthead and breadcrumbs on the large image display?

On most displays, you should have to scroll down a bit to see the whole image. I think no masthead and no breadcrumbs might be a solution.
Also, is it possible to "swipe-right" or "swipe-left" to go thru the images? It would be more convenient especially to people used to touch screens.
Just asking.

All computers around me show the entire image without a need to scroll. So it might not affect that many.

Glad to read that, Daniel. Here I have a (2)21inch 1920x1080 screens, a windows laptop also at HD ratio but also a half tablet and iPhones. On all but the phones, I have to scroll down a bit to see the entire large image. In fact, if the real estate occupied by the masthead+breadcrumbs is removed, then I get full-screen images with no scrolling.

swiping is not possible with single page presentation you're using.
You can swipe with the slideshow presentation. And the images take up more room. And there are no breadcrumbs or masthead.
