I just migrated my site to a new domain. I reinstalled Wordpress and added a template. The template works but none of my posts are coming up. When I am in Wordpress and go to customize, it shows my posts as it should but the actual site goes to "Blog" but is blank from the Masthead down. any thoughts?

Hi Patrick,
How did you move your blog?
Is this a new domain (new domain name) or a new host (same domain name
Is this a new WordPress installation or did you move what you had.
If this is a new installation, did you also migrate your WordPress database from the old domain?
Here’s a tutorial on how to do it manually: https://www.wpexplorer.com/migrating-wordpress-website/
There are also WordPress plugins that can help with it.
Hopefully your old database is still intact?

Rod,
I did not migrate the old Wordpress site. Since I never launched any posts I loaded a new installation and started with a new template. I now find that from my galleries tab I can get the blog info but from the blog I can't go home or about. Maybe its a menu problem but I can't seem to find it.

I edited my post above with different questions. Take a look at that so we have a better idea of what’s going on

For the menu behavior, is the menu set being used by the page template that creates the WP theme the same as for the rest of the site?
If not, then give both templates the same menu set.
Links from the blog end in, for example /contact/
Whereas the URLs for the rest of your site end in, for example /?=contact
You can try going to Backlight Settings and setting the page url format (under Web Settings), to about/

In the menu set, what is the Link To setting for Home, contact, about?
It should probably be "page"

Hmmmm.......
How about the WordPress settings in Backlight. So you haveExport on Save set to yes?
If not, try exporting the theme to WordPress again. Maybe that will update the menu being used in WordPress.

What I find strange is that the website url settings are set to /about/ yet the page urls are all /?=about. And if you hover over the menu links, all the links to pages end in the /?=about format

They are different under the Galleries Tab and the Blog Tab. I have the gallery page set to url and /galleries. On the Home, About, and Contact page they are all ?page=. But when I switch to galleries or blog tab they are /name/. And the ?page=Blog tab goes to a blank page.

I deleted wordpress to see try to isolate the problem. Clearly it is the gallery tab. Im not sure why its happening. I will try and reinstall the blog and delete the gallery tab and see if that works.

You shouldn't have to reinstall Backlight.
If you want to email Backlight guest updater credentials to me I'll take a look to see if I can find anything obvious

as an aside, if you want a drop-down menu for your galleries, it the menu set, choose Album Set as the Link To option. Then pick Galleries and set the descent level.

I set you up as a guest updater. User name Rod, password = MAGA.
See if you can help
I hope my computer doesn't melt when I use that password

I noticed that you created a page named "Blog"
You don't need to create a page for your blog. Just by installing WordPress in a folder named "Blog" should do it. Then in your menu set, for the Blog item, link it to the url (not the page) for the blog: /Blog or http://www.newdawnphotogrphy.com/Blog
I don't know if that's causing the confusion or not. But try deleting the Blog page and see if that helps.

Also, try clearing template cache. It doesn't appear I can do that as a guest updater.

But I still don't understand why the urls in your main site menu use the /?=contact format rather than the /contact/ format you've chosen. And the urls in the blog use the /contact/ format.
could be a .htaccess file issue.
