Not sure what you mean. Backlight doesn't use shortcodes.

Backlight can’t find my shopping cart
This is what happens when I goto my administrator backlight cart settings

Hi, I have just released an updated version of the Cart, version 4.1.6, that addresses these incompatibilities with PHP 7.2
Please download the latest Cart zip fie and replace the files under backlight/modules/module-cart
