I'm generally very happy with my move to Backlight2, but the CE4 migration has produced some phantom albums called "/" (eg http://frozentime.se/socialchefsdagarna//), and if I delete them in the Backlight Publisher interface, the parent directory disappears, taking with it all the good albums.
Trying to edit the properties to make the album invisible causes a PHP error as Backlight tries to rename "/".
There is no real album corresponding to the Album Name, which I guess is why the interface sets the filename to "/".
Is there any way to get at these phantom files in the database ?
If not, maybe a future release could be trained to ignore files called "/", or at least not try to delete them when removing from the DB.
(Realised I posted in Backlight and not Backlight2. Sorry. Please move as appropriate)

have you tried deleting these albums from Backlight?
Go to Publisher > Top Level Galleries and click on albums for the Top Level Gallery you're looking in to.
When the album list appears, click on the album. You'll see the option to delete.
If this doesn't help, then Ben will need to take a look. He'll need Backlight Admin credentials and may also need FTP access. You can save some time by emailing that information to him.

Yes, I tried deleting from the BL interface, and because the file was called "/", it deleted the parent directory, so I lost all the other albums in that directory, and had to rebuild them all, so don't want to try that again...
I'll mail Ben.
Thanks,
Mark

You can try going directly to the database from the link on the main dashboard. The password is admin. But be careful, maybe back up the backlight/data folder before poking around in there.

Oooooh, that was scary, but deleting records with slug = NULL fixes the problem.
Thanks so much !
