I'm having problems publishing via lightroom. Error message:
Can't update this collection
Unable to perform action: UploadRendition
Message: Unexpected error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in ImageResizer.php on line 180
It also failed when I tried to publish via backlight. Error message: upload failed

Hi Sam, I can see where the problem may be. Can you provide me with a Backlight admin login via email so that I can look into it?

Hi Sam, I've applied a silent update to address this. To fix this:
1. Log into Backlight
2. Visit Backlight > Backlight Modules
3. On the entry for module-publisher, click Reinstall
4. Click the Reinstall button to confirm
I'm not sure why this error has appeared now. What version of PHP is your site running? This can be found by visiting the View PHP Info link on the main Backlight admin page.

It works!!! Thank you Ben.

That's great, but I would still like to know: what version of PHP are you running?

I'm using PHP Version 5.4.45

I'm having the same challenge. It started a couple of weeks ago. I'm able to upload between 1 and 6 photos at a time then the message appears. I've logged in to Backlight, but there's no 'Backlight Modules', [I'm using Backlight 1]. Using ftp I can see the 'modules' folder but there is no 'module-publisher' inside it. The version of PHP is 5.6.38.

Dave, yours may be a case of php upload limits.

if editing your php.ini file doesn't work, can you repost under a new topic in the Backlight Support forum?
