If decide to make a second site, do I need to purchase another Backlight 2 ?
Offline
The single licence covers any sites that you own. You would need to make a second purchase if you were putting together a site for somebody else.
If you have any doubt, please clarify the nature of your second site. Some may be a grey area - e.g. making a site for your partner's hobby would be close enough to count as your own, but making a site for a friend's photographic business would not. For the point of discussion, one area that I think is pretty clear is that if building websites for clients, where you are providing the service of building sites, would require a purchase for each site. An example of that would be a designer building sites for photographers.
Matt could probably clarify this more succinctly.

I am building the site for my wife and I plan to use my current Lightroom as well.

I think you covered the use cases very well, actually. ;-)

For these use cases, you're entirely fine with the single license. And I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to check in with us for clarification on the matter.
