Digital download and physical item

Guys,

I have read the documentation but its a bit lacking for me.

I currently have digital downloads and got my knickers in a twist when I wanted to also offer a framed print as well as the option to download, either or, not both onto a product.

In simple terms, is there another piece of documentation that I can follow in plain english to enable me to do this.
Or can someone help me out by providing a kind of step by step guide.

I would really appreciate anyones help.

Just add the framed print product to a pricing scheme that includes digital downloads. (Or create a new pricing scheme that contains both products.
Upon clicking the cart icon your customers will see the add to cart dialog. There will be a drop down where they can choose the digital download or the print product.

I just re-read your post. I’m not positive what it is you’re after. Do you want your customers to be able to choose either download or print of a picture?
Or do you want some pictures in an album to be available as a print but not a download and some pictures to be available as a download but not as a print?

I would like to have a download and a print option.

I will have a go at what you suggested, I have tried that but for some reason I don't think (if i can remember, that it actually worked correctly)

Your suggestion sounds simple, but I don't think it worked for me, but am going to have another go.

When you first installed the Cart there was one or two pricing schemes included (Default and, I believe, Premium). I think they both had downloads plus prints.

I have one more question Rod.....

Can I attach a photo of the frame next to the size in the drop down box, if so, how? I thought I saw an option for that, but now I can't seem to find where I saw it....perhaps my eyes are deceiving me!!!!

No, you can’t do that.
Instead, you could create a page (or better yet, a pop-up) that has pictures of the frame options you offer and provide a link in the album text.
