Hi, I have recently set up an instance of Backlight with both the Cart and Client Response but I'm having trouble getting the cart to work. I'm using a clone of the standard theme and have enabled the Cart addon. It gives me the options to include a package button etc, but not the option to include a cart button on each pic (as per the docs), rendering it useless. Any tips on getting this working?

I think the docs are out of date. Those settings are in the album template settings for Backlight 1.1 and earlier (Okapi) .
There should be a cart button on each picture by default. There is no option to turn it off.
Can you post a link to a cart enabled album? This may be nothing more than colors for the buttons being the same as the background color.

I’m on my iPad so can’t check the source code, but my first guess is that the album you linked to is not a cart-enabled album.
Check to make sure you’ve assigned the correct album template to that album.

Thanks again Rod. The cart has been enabled in the album template. Is there somewhere else that it needs to be enabled? In Lightroom perhaps?

Yes! I should have though of that first. Edit the album and look under the Integration tab. Be sure to fill out the Pricing Scheme field.
