I'm still using the CE4 CRG, but am thinking of upgrading to Backlight.
I already have a new Wordpress site and theme I've tweaked up and running.
I have a Client login link in the top menu that opens the CRG CE4 client login page and galleries in a new tab.
I'm just wondering if it's possible to have the client login page and subsequent galleries open inside the Wordpress page, so I don't have to try and match the style of the top nav menu of the Backlight client login and gallery pages to the existing top nav menu of the Wordpress theme/site?
Thanks.
Best,
Rob.

Backlight pages are independent from WordPress, so no, you can’t do what you’re asking.
You have two options:
Design the Backlight template to match your WordPress design.
Change your WordPress theme to match your Backlight design by using the Backlight WordPress Add-on.
I suppose you could use phplugins to replace the Backlight nav menu with the WordPress menu.
There’s a document on how to do that in CE4, you could try adapting that to Backlight. (Many of the Backlight hooks are different).

Thanks Rod.
How fine are the controls to position the top nav menu in Backlight?

Hard to tell without seeing what you've got, but there are several options. It'll depend on where you place it: in the header or in the top-pallet. (basically below or above the masthead.)
From there you can tweak with custom css
